This podcast has been around for nearly 10 years and I do not get bored of listening to the banter between the hosts. This podcast is always one of listens on the way to work or on my home while I commute. Hope this stays for a few years more. Love it.

Ryan Scott, the main host, is great. However, the show is too often derailed by inane, ignorant ramblings from co-hosts. They will often baselessly bash on shows they don't even watch, like Agents of SHIELD; the popularity of which some of them seem to resent because they're not in on it and dislike how much others are enjoying it. It's annoying and tedious.

Great show, even if your not a geek. Full of pop culture ramblings with a great cast of people. A must listen!!!

Geekbox is one of my favourite podcast out there. Chaired by the loveable and highly knowledgeable Ryan Scott, it manages to inform and entertain in a way most other podcast could only dream about. The rest of crew (Adam Fitch, Justin Haywald, and Ryan Higgins) by no means play second fiddle to grandmaster Scott’s steering of the weakly discussions. They too are highly entertaining. I particular enjoy the episodes that April to infrequently attends as she breaks up the sometimes sausagefest (a role otherwise taken by Adam).

About time I wrote a review... Been listening since número uno. Worth your time =)

Love these guys. Ryan, Ryan and Adam. Adam just needs to spin up before he gets going, but when he does it's usually a great story....usually.

Overall I really like the geek box. unfortunately I find certain members of this podcast rather insufferable, due to ill thought out comments and the constant overuse of the word "like" which is said in successive barrages, and sometimes the only content within a sentence. Otherwise I do very much like the podcast, and find it very informative and on occasion fairly amusing. It's unfortunate that the negative features I have discussed have made me skip episodes.

I like the podcast and have an interest in a lot of content but what really puts me off is you can hear the hosts chewing directly into the microphone.

I've never ever watched "Lost" or "Burn Notice" etc

I don't watch Dr Who anymore,in fact,dont watch much tv full stop

So why on earth do i love this podcast so much,been away from it for a few months but ressistance is useless.

I've listened to this podcast for years, it's kept me going on long walks at lunchtime, listening to theories on Lost was the high point, but continuing ramble on games and tv is cool. Worth a listen.

This is a great podcast. Full of witty banter and information on all the goings on in the world of Geek.

Listening to this podcast is like swimming in a sea of warm milk. Ryan Scott's silky voice is the slide that eases you into the milky goodness, Karen Chu's excitable yelp is the shock of the milk as it splashes your face and washes over your body, Ryan Higgins' gothic bark is you realising that your feet can't touch the bottom, and Adam Fitch's umm… umm… umm… well… well… hey! hey! hey! hey! Wait! Umm… ummm… is you realising that swimming in a sea of warm milk isn't all that nice.

Seriously though, listen to it. They're like the Scooby Doo gang in real life.

I eagerly anticipate for the release of this podcast every week because it's so great. They talk about games, films, TV shows and everything else! I especially love the fact that they watch a few shows from UK including Dr Who and Sherlock and on the recent podcast I heard Ryan and Karen mention they also watch QI. But the best part of the podcast has to Adam Fitch explaining something, it gives me moments of laugh out loud moments!

Despite the above this is my number 1 podcast and have been listening for nearly 2 years now.

Love it when they start discussing topics they have no knowledge of such as football (the proper one) or cricket.

Highly recommended, feels like having your little piece of California in your ear every week.

Awesome show guys. Shame that Higgins doesn't...like...anything!!!

Get your new and improved Fitch to explain stuff more, it's hilarious...except when I nearly crash my car from laughing too hard.

When you've listed to RebelFM, Weekend Confirmed, Retronauts Live, At1Up, Games Dammit, Out of the Game, Irrational Behaviour, Gamers with Jobs Conference Call, Joypod, The Oddcast and The Gamespy Debriefings this really is the best podcast that sometimes talks about videogames that's left.

Needs more Patrick Joynt.

Brilliant, the best podcast to come from the ex 1up'ers. Adam and his twin the other Fitch are3 super geek and the 2 Ryans could talk about the merits of comic book characters all day and keep it interesting but the best part of this podacast are the women. Karen and Alice Wow nerds to the core. Just keep it up ladies. Also for the other non regulars they help keep what could be very stale fresh and entertaining. PS I loved the Geekboxies and the fantasy top 5 unattainbles bits. Well done.

I was a listener of The Brodeo for a long time and I'd been listening to Out of the Game and A Life Well Wasted but this seemed to slip under my radar until last December. Kinda dissapointed with myself that it did, it's currently my favourite podcast. Ryan Scott is a hero.

I wouldn't be overexaggerating if I said that this podcast changed my life. Like Ryan Scott, I was once a Demon's Souls doubter. Following his wise words of encouraging and his stories on how he overcame this challenge encouraged me to re-address my journey and finally start enjoying my (virtual) life. I could never thank him enough.

The other guests are ok, too. I probably like Karen the best, even when she eats loudly.

Always delivers an entertaining listen. Great stuff if you long for the halcyon days of 1up/GFW. Covers a variety of topics and has opened my eyes to some great TV.

I unsubscribed for about two weeks because i thought i was bored of it.I was wrong just needed a break,still a great podcast about lots of stuff and a good chunk of American culture.Got some catching up to do.

Brilliant Podcast! An excellent balance of humour, current affairs and general industry related chat about the media world! For me it has been hard too find a satisfying podcast which works on different levels, but the mix of depth, views, opinions and comedy displayed by The Geekbox has drawn me in and successfully maintained my attention for weeks. With a hilarious yet intelligent, serious yet passionate team of gamers; The Geekbox is everything I have been waiting for! After listening for a few minutes I was in fits of laughter and later in deep thought as the team went through some of the controversial issues surrounding the video game world. (Poor representation/Violence to name a few) I subscribed after the first episode and would certainly recommend to friends. Shout me on the next Podcast guys! Zerien.

Embrace in the inner geek, sophisticated comic/game/tv discussions, with relationship advice randomly spread into most episodes. Big fan, However...... I must say Episode 34 was a bit of a challenge to finish, thought the guest throwing his opinion around a bit liberally and often interupting slight irritating. not saying i dissagree with the guy or his opinions, just a bit full on for my liking. Thumbs up for the podcast from me, i'd give it an uncharted 2'esk 4.5/5 review if i could allocate 1/2 points. You guys should get mr ashley on ASAP!

Fun podcast full of like minded geeks talking random crap that stays interesting throughout.

I loved this podcast, I really did. Nice, normal people just chatting about any and everything that a geek wants to know about. Ryan Scott's gaming knowledge is very impressive and he is very critical where so many are happy to give a game a good review.

I found I had the same taste in movies, tv, music, well everything that these guys liked. Then about a month ago, it all started to changed. It became about their personal lives which to be honest, I wasnt really into. I couldnt care if Hitch was unable to meet a suitable partner due to his own neurotic behaviour or listen to little anecdotes about employees at 1Up.

I think I can pinpoint the exact moment I lost interest in this podcast, it came when I realised one of the team actually didnt give a flying frak anymore. Karen actually sat and read a comic (apparently some sort of badly drawn adult take on famous childrens stories). Her contribution was virtually null during the episode and you have to question someones intentions if they would rather read a trashy 18+ comic than discuss her views on the weeks movies/tv/games etc.

I guess the proof is in the pudding when Ryan spends the last two minutes of the show asking people to review/dig/tweet/facebook this podcast to gain support. I subscribe to ALOT of podcasts and it helps my daily commute go that little bit quicker and I am not aware of any other cast that does it. Maybe its a personal opinion but it just iritates me.

By all means, give it a try but if you want games I suggest the podcasts from the Sarcastic Gamer crew and if you want movie reviews try Spill.com (They also have an EXCELLENT comic book/general geekery podcast called League of Extraordinary Gentlemen).

Their forum is incredibly friendly and the guys who run it always interact with the forum members (Spillios is the term of endearment :) )

I download a few podcasts to while away the bus commute. Geekbox is always the first to be listened to. A group of likeable and interesting personalities, discussing things that interest me.

Just thought i'd rate review while im on the istore on my pc for once. Its a great podcast covering all sorts of interesting and funny topics and keeps me happy on my walk to work on sundays which takes some doing, also got me started on my first graphic novel Fabels which i started reading after recomendations for other comic-virgins on the podcast and plan to sign upto the Geekbox message board to post to ask for further recomendations. As i said great podcast making me smile and laugh lots, and i always miss it on those times Ryan Scott fails to upload it in time but i always forgive him after listening to it when it finally is uploaded lol. Anyway cheers all you guys, keep it up n keep them coming.

Ryan Scott and crew are great...but an hour discussing Lost seems a little to much for this geek. More games, less Lost guys - pleeeeaaaassseeee
