A combination of poor sound quality and Miller’s ever more high pitched whine has finally rendered this unlistenable to me.

Sound quality on the recent episode appears to be of bad quality

Great analysis and a selection of pundits/writers is ruined by poor sound quality and an unbearable presenter who chuckles at every terrible question/attempt at a joke for no reason.

My equal favourite cricket podcast (alongside the Analyst Inside Cricket). Always new discussion points and fresh perspectives. Butch is always extra insightful.

Used to be the market leader, but outdone week after week by the Wisden guys these days. Butch and Dobell can still deliver, but Miller hasn’t made a coherent point in years....

Essential listening for cricket fans!

I look forward to this podcast. The host is always wryly amusing, and Butch and Miller are always worth listening to, Butch particularly. And it sounds a bit better than it did!

I can’t really comment on the content as the sound is often so poor/quiet from contributors that it is literally unlistenable. What a shame.

Generally a good podcast, sometimes lacks in personnel, always lacks in audio quality. Really hard to listen to.

Proper, expert analysis of cricket. A great listen for cricket fans of all forms of the beautiful game. 👍🏻

A good podcast but I can’t listen to it because of the dreadful ads.

A thoroughly enjoyable cricket round-up, and because of erratic scheduling you have the added spice of not knowing whether the next episode will be in a week, a month, a generation etc.

BUT - this is an audio medium, so please can an organisation of ESPN's considerable resources invest in some decent recording equipment, not Gnasher's mobile with a mic attached, perhaps a sound engineer (they're not expensive) and even some training in mic use for the participants, so that there is some consistency to the levels. Too many times on headphones I have had to turn up the volume to make out one of Butch's more cerebral musings, only to be deafened when Miller interjects...

But otherwise great stuff.

Great cricket chat, delivered in a light hearted manner. Butch is his usual witty self.

The best cricket podcast by a mile. George Dobell and Mark Butcher are the best cricket pundits around, I enjoy TMS/Tuffers and Vaughan but you get much better analysis on Switch Hit. The only problem is when they get someone on the phone from abroad and the sound is terrible, particularly if they've got a strong non-English accent, as you can't understand a word and have to fast-forward. But generally excellent.

Poor podcasting, their opinions seem to be based purely on the latest test result. Their position on players flip flops too much

Usually a good listen but for heavens sake I don’t want to have to download a 2GB video file. sort it out please!

Top quality, very analytically good, healthy debates, expert coverage, dodgy sound from time to time, but overall a must have in my podcast armoury.

I like this pod although I agree with others about the sound quality. It's also a shame they don't put the latest pods on iTunes for some reason, it's also a shame they ignore emails about whether they will upload the latest onto iTunes.

I am a keen listener of switch-hit podcast and would like to thank everybody responsible for its production. Just one concern, I think there are too many people in the show, it used to be great a year or so ago but now there is too much informality in the 'chat' show.People having sandwich, some participants not paying attention and also diverting from the main topic. Please can some discipline and formality be achieved in the coming programmes.

Whatever they use for the sound, its worse than any of the Amateur podcasts I listen to.

Its a shame as the guys are all good to listen to, its just too hard at times to pick up what's being said and by who.

Good cricket chat. But since they started using google live chat thing, sound quality has plumited, really annoying.

Unless you can sort the sound out you're going to lose a lot of subscribers...

Great content but the regular poor quality Skype links that break half way through a discussion are very annoying, ESPN spend some money on some old fashioned phone lines!!!

The panel give a good balanced view of International cricket from an England perspective. I like the balance of different opinions and the sense of humour.

Excellent pundits , good topics. Possibly a better product than the TMS product as its weekly, and not such an issue on time, as TMS gives a good days play update, it's always too late.

Switch hit always hits the sweet spot of the bat !!!!

A brilliant pod - only improved of late by David Hopps and the excellent George Dobell (Jonathan and Gnasher remain in situ and on good form). The guys know their stuff and care about the game. That it somehow rates lower than Alan Brazil's sports breakfast is a sad indictment on those who download :-) Keep up the good work fellas.

Always enjoy this pod, any cricket fan young or old will enjoy it.

Best cricket podcast. Keeps you up to date with world cricket

Extremely well informed podcast that looks at most areas of interest in the cricketing world, while focusing on the fortunes of the national side. Andrew Miller is a welcome source of knowledge, humour and criticism using phrases such as "this was a clear message from Andy Flower that he would no longer put up with the fatties of English cricket". A must have for any England fan.

I really enjoy listening to this pod. The contributers are clearly very knowledgeable and they don't just focus on England internationals (although it is usually the main talking point).
