As Davie Provan would eulogise- this is very, very decent. Best, non-club specific Scottish football podcast out there. Rangers & Celtic chat is given same coverage as other teams and all the better for it. Maybe a bit too Hearts-centric at times but pretty much faultless otherwise.

Used to be a decent listen but deteriorated dramatically with honking patter. Not sure some have the slightest idea what they’re on about. If the two Edinburgh lads aren’t on I tend to delete. Shame.

Better than that other Scottish football pod but the patter is sketchy at best and severely cringey at times. Needs some central/west coast influence for balance and a better laugh.

Been listening for a good few years now, still love the show but preferred when episodes could be as long as the had to be and not being forced to be under an hour.

Its more listenable than kenny mac or superscoreboard but in terms of football no more informative and just as tribal.

Very good listen and great to find a podcast that finally allows Fifers to participate.

I particularly enjoy the guy Noel Sked’s fluidity and non making up of words.

Funny and informative, this is a great podcast and easily the best podcast focused on Scottish football.

Clearly everyone on it does research, it also benefits from not having the same old, ex-pro voices on it.

With the Monday and Thursday show having different presenters/contributors there is a wide spread of knowledge, this becomes apparent in the lower league coverage focus shows which always uncover a gem of a story that would otherwise be missed.

A real class act.

Really enjoy this podcast, doesn't concentrate on Old Firm. Think I'm one of the few 'Gers fans who actually enjoy all of Scottish Football so this podcast ticks the box. Although wish I found this before the banter years started. 😩

Particularly like the lower league stuff with Shaun and Craig "Stone Cold" Telfer.

Would recommend to a friend, still waiting for the subject of podcasts to come up naturally in conversation though.

Good alternative as opposed to other media outlets covering Scottish football - see Agent Scotland. The podcast is more insightful than the Yer Da weekly crowd statistics that get published.

Great coverage of all levels of the Scottish game. The lower league coverage in particular is always a highlight. Unlike seeing Martin Hardie's face pressed up against your 1st floor bedroom window, the notification appearing on my phone that a new episode is ready is always a welcome surprise.

Funnier than that time Dougie Imrie shat himself at high school.

Also, in my personal highlight of the Banter Years, when Motherwell beat Rangers 3-0 (6-1 on aggregate) Dougie Imrie was watching the game at my neighbour's house and drove away in a huff at half time

It has absolutely everything that's missing from the Radio Scotland coverage... The guys actually know the names of all the players for starters!

They have a genuine passion for the Scottish game, they love it more than Martyn Waghorn likes chips, more than Stuart Armstrong loves conditioner and more than Brendan Rodgers loves dental floss.

Take, Hibs. The guys totally discount the signings of Whitaker, Ambrose and Marciano, in fact they don't even mention them. Instead there are some snidey comments about signing two Lithuanians and dismissing the chances of Stokes coming.

Pretty stilted and not much insight or balance. Adding a few sweary words, pretty self-consciously delivered doesn't make you "street". All a bit juvenile and lacking any depth.

Brilliant funny insightful and throughly enjoyable. Not a shortbread biscuit in sight

A cracking listen every time with a great mix of Scottish fitba journalistic insight and "fanalysis" (you can use that) helping to promote and hype the SPFL.

Whether dropping C-bombs in pre-season, bodying all trolls or dropping sick Friends GIFs all over their timeline, the #chaosfactor at TTSFP HQ knows no bounds and hits you like Mohsni on Erwin every single time.

As an erstwhile contributor to their website since moving to Norn Iron, I can't help but feel the Terraceists would have become my very best friends if I'd stuck around in Glasgow.

The best punditry about Scottish football going.

Luminous, agenda-setting, deft, thought-provoking and downright funny, yes, The Guardian's Football Weekly podcast has everything.

But once you're finished that, at least this is Scottish and you have the underlying tension of waiting for Joel to spark a class action lawsuit.

As groundbreaking as a Jim Slavin overhead clearance, the Terrace is the definitive Scottish football podcast. Treating the SPFL with the respect (and occasional contempt) it deserves, it's a refreshing, honest and brutally amusing antidote to the chummy or smug coverage found on other shows. Definitely petty, but rarely ill-informed.

In the words of Rob MacLean describing Vidar Riseth... "Appears awkwardly un-gamely, however effective and versatile".

I've been listening to the Terrace for a few years now. Really enjoy the in depth analysis of the Scottish game. Great to hear from a variety of fans each week. Keep up the good work!

Scottish Football. If you try to understand it or explain it to someone else this is the podcast to do such a task.

This is a show that does NOT shy away from the Lower Leagues & understands the commodity that it is. The varied cast of hosts is what makes this show a must listen (from Hibs, Raith Rovers, Motherwell to Dundee, you may also stumble across the occasional Jambo if you listen often enough)

However, what this show does, that is in my opinion unsurpassed, is their ability to appreciate the best of Scottish Football along with the worst & apply the level of humour that is required to be a fan of this association whilst never demeaning the product that is in front of us as consumers & fans.

If you listen to this show you get a level of insight along with each hosts individual brand of humour that is not found on any other social/sporting platform that I've come across yet.

I can only look forward to the day The Terrace is The/&/Or alternative commentary on Scottish Football.

I am writing this review because Craig Fowler told me to.

BUT, it is an enjoyable show. Really enjoy the features such as "12 best" and "time capsule". Only gripe is they've ditched lower league football since rangers got promoted.

Since discovering this podcast about a year ago it has fast become my favourite podcast. The guys that run this podcast create what has to consistently be the best journalistic product about Scottish football out there - absolutely putting the bbc amongst others to shame.

Easily the best fitba podcast going. Covers all teams, not just the big two, and has lower league content too.

Fantastic Podcast summarising the highs and lows of the Scottish game from all levels. Informative, witty and sometimes just great patter, this is easily the best Podcast I've come across in relation to Scottish fitba.

A bit East Coast-centric but plenty for fans of Scottish football to get their teeth into. Not the slickest in terms of production values but that all adds to the old school podcast vibe. Well worth giving a try.

An excellent podcast which has the right balance of serious football discussion and light-hearted nonsense.
