Used to be the best football podcast out there with Neil Ashton etc, pure rubbish now.

I’m so glad it’s not just me. This podcast / program used to be the highlight of my week. A rotating cast of intelligent, informed journalists discussing a huge range of topics, it really WAS an excellent show, still to this day cannot believe Sky binned off what should have been their flagship discussion show, for what has simply become drivel! No personal slight on the current hosts, they are performing adequately, but this simply isn’t what people want… The show has now become a poorer version of one of the many football podcasts like this, it is no longer unique, it is no longer special.

Sky producers have a simple answer to every single negative review, bring back the old format, host, plus journalists. If they also still want to make this current show fine, but do it under a different name, stop destroying the great reputation that this show used to have.

Now panders to the sanctimonious and desperately eager to be offended woke community.

This show used to be good before it pandered to the woke community! A real shame! I just listen to the old shows to remind me of the good old days.

If I could give it minus a billion stars I would do So WOKE now, anyone looking for a football based pod, move along, nothing to hear here. If you want self pitying race issues you’ll love it. Unsubscribing with immediate effect

For years this was a good listen, informed journalist from various papers giving decent insight and opinion. Now it’s just random ex footballers talking nonsense. Lots of womens football too. Can’t imagine anyone thinks this is an improvement.

Agree with what others have said about Morrison, very un-educated for this style of show. I mean, Morrison or Henry Winter and Martin Samuel et al. No brainer Darren Lewis has the most annoying voice ever but does at least understand football. Alas it’s taken a dive bomb and the Totally football show has cemented its position even more as the UK’s top football podcast and show. What idiot changed a winning and successful formula to be fashionable. Watch the subscribers and viewers disappear faster than ever, to think someone at Sky actually got paid for making this horrific change.

This used to be my most looked forward to podcast each week. Neil Ashton and the other journalists sitting round the table, giving a different, educated perspective from all the other pods with pundits and ex players, this is ruined now. Just cancel the show.

Sad to hear what used to be a flagship sports show reduced to this.

Difficult listen as everything is over-hyped. Pundits giving opinions and insights based on hot-air and very little semblance of evidence.

After all these years, you STILL cannot put these stupid 365 ads in at a normal volume level!??!

A good couple of months without the Bet365 ad thundering into my ears, have no real issues with the content of the program but the ads really need sorting.

Used to be good back in the day. That was until Darren Lewis turned in to 90% discussion on racism 10% discussion on football.

For almost 20years this was one of the best discussion based programmes on TV but when Neil Ashton left they decided to revamp it to this format which is rooted in how hard it is to be a minority (I’m not disputing this) rather than what is happening on the park and around transfers which was the old model. It would have made a great special (which the old programme periodically did) but every week it’s getting tedious and is probably detrimental in getting people to consider these issues (it’s stopped me watching/learning when I enjoyed the periodic issue led specials of the old format)

I have been subscribed to this podcast for years. Neil Aston and all the other journalists did a cracking job, discussing the morning papers and all the gossip rumours. Enter the woke movement and regardless of talent, these people no longer ticked Sky’s box. Like most things in this sad era, the quality has been diluted down to a repetitive ramble week after week from some mediocre guests covering the same old topics. Who never seem to change (probably due to boxes needing to be ticked). Sadly, while the woke box is now ticked, the quality, as always has been sacrificed. I’ve given it a go, but am now ready to unsubscribe.

Used to be so much better with male presenters. Just with Sky Sports CRICKET/GOLF/FOOTBALL they all have too many women presenters. Im a female but much prefer men to comment on mens games and women to comment on women's games. Sunday Supplement had also fallen into tokenism which is a shame. Ive switched off

Pretty much mirrors their live coverage; if you’re not a so called ‘big 6’ club, you may as well not exist (just have a look at the majority of the podcast titles/discussion points over the last year or so). If you are one of those ESL clubs, fill your boots.

This used to be a football podcast, now it’s a platform for esoteric jokes between the presenters and a wonderful example of how being good at playing football doesn’t automatically qualify you to be in the media. The guests are so inarticulate it’s embarrassing. An interesting, intelligent show ruined and turned into moronic nonsense. Unsubscribed. Poor, poor, poor.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Completely agree with everyone else. This used to be an insightful listen, now every 5live football pod is better. Surely this isn’t played as a program on the tele as well. You’d have to have lost the remote only to watch.

I used to listen to this with headphones but they have a regular advert which has the volume turned up and it blasts your eardrums. Really irritating

Had to unsubscribe. Used to be a lively debate between four journalists and now just Darren Lewis talking about racism. Don’t listen to podcasts for just one opinion.

Used to be the best pod for football on the premiership going it’s an absolute snooze fest now. Change in format was a huge mistake.

Moving away from the tried and trusted format of four journalists has ruined the show. After years of listening, I have given up.

Let me say the one star review isn’t a reflection on Vicky Gomersall. I think she does a fine job as host.

This podcast has gone from being the best in every way to the least interesting. The show used to have top quality journalist from top quality news sources to now having Darren Lewis...

I found the insight from the journalists interesting and different fo that of ex-football players now pundits. And that’s what made the show great.

It’s a shame it’s gone.

If you feeling like me then I suggest looking at The Athletic. They have loads more content and at a much higher quality.

I enjoyed it when it was a host and the journos. They give you a different perspective to players or pundits. They got rid and got pundits that just spout the same sentences you hear on TV. Terrible!

This podcast was all about 4 or 5 journalists discussing football - the new format is awful - we don’t want interviews - we want analysis and discussion. Jimmy Hill would be turning in his grave with this new show. Dreadful now

Used to love this podcast but it’s been a while since then.

Maybe losing Neil Ashton or the 4 journalists at a table format is the reason.

Used to be my favourite....with Ash presenting and journalists giving insightful discussion. The new presenter is terrible and now ex players just stating the obvious with nothing of meaning to say it’s unbearable.

Thank goodness for the football writers podcast I recommend to anyone to delete Sunday supplement it’s been ruined and download football writers podcast.

This used to be one of the best football shows with Great journalism and a deep dive into football.

Like most of sky now the quality is falling fast as they focus on ticking a box.

Once a decent show, popular for many years, now sadly lacking in quality.

There used to a varied discussion between a GROUP of journalists, a good debate some humour some disagreement.

Now we have none of that. One Journalist & an ex player who drone on, hand in hand, making a drab show.

Come on SKY, get this show back to its best.

Used to be the best football podcast, the new format is so dull. The panel of journalist insight/analysis/banter was the show’s USP. Sorry to say I’m no longer a listener.

Sunday Supplement used to be, without exception, my favourite podcast. Always my first listen on a Monday above anything else. Unfortunately that show is dead. It died when Neil Ashton left. The whole beauty of the show was the insight of a wide range of journalistic voices across the print media spectrum offering a well connected and well informed view on what was happening in football.

Now it’s nothing of the sort. Darren Lewis is left to carry the whole thing on his shoulders. I always enjoyed him as one of the guests on the show but leaving him with Vicky Gommorsall and some inane ex pro be it Morrison, Mills or Agbonlahor this isn’t the Sunday Supplement!!!

I don’t understand why Sky felt the need to change the format - football journalists discussing the world of football.

I know Sky think they are committed to diversification and applaud that ethos. But surely you would have been better to actually replace Neil Ashton with Darren Lewis as the presenter and still give a platform to some of the excellent BAME journalists that used to appear on the show such as Vashali Bhardwaj & Jonathan Liew.

This current format just stinks of patronising tokenism whilst all your main pundits & presenters continue to be white men.

I implore you to have a rethink for next season and try and return to what made the show great.

Until then I will be unsubscribing and listening to the Football Writers pod from BT Sport

Used to love Sunday supplement but Sunday morning never works for me to watch so listened every Monday morning to work. Since it went off air it’s turned into a podcast that talks more about racism than football. Darren Lewis is good but the ex-pros are awful especially Bent and Agbonlahor. See ya later.

I used to really like Sunday Supplement and listening to the pod cast instead of the live show suited me.

The changes Sky have made have meant it is just not the same show I subscribed to. Hopefully Sky listen to these views and bring back the show for next season. Unsubscribing for now.

Can we have some proper journalists back instead of this garbage, unsubscribed.

My favourite pods don’t include ex pros. I like Guardian Football Weekly and the Football Writers Podcast. When Ash was presenting with the journo guests it was untouchable. I like Vicky and Darren is great but only listen if I can handle listening to the guest. Clinton Morrison surprisingly good but cannot listen to Gabby (100%, Exactly That) Agbonlahor. It has gone downhill but it’s still ok. Seems to end very abruptly each week and could really do without Bet365 bursting my ear drums every five minutes but hey ho.

Have listened to this podcast for a long time, and always enjoyed the content and guests . But the most annoying thing about it is, it just launches that stupid “the bet365 app gives you everything...” mid sentence,without warning or a chance to skip, blaring it down your earphones about 30 decibels louder than the podcast itself.

Greedy sky must really need all that extra income (NOT) I guess. Have now switched off and unsubscribed for good.

Used to be good, now it’s a shambles

Used to be my favourite Podcast to listen to but has deteriorated to the extent that it’s not worth a listen anymore. Swapping quality journalists who had excellent opinions on football with Clinton Morrison and Darren Bent is a total joke. Also Darren Lewis is barely worth a listen either, he just wants to discuss political issues instead of football - poor effort Sky

This used to be the most essential football podcast. Darren Lewis is an excellent journalist, but the USP of this show was that he was one of many good journalists and disagreements between the panel made the show even better. This has gone now and sadly so has the reason to listen. We know why Sky have done this and applaud the sentiment, but the move has killed the show. So sad.

This programme was so good and a must watch or listen to every week.It has suddenly deteriorated and is now appalling.I shall be looking for other football shows or podcasts as this one has had its day.
