This is the sort of podcast I listen to when I’ve had enough of listening to sometimes very gloomy news, political podcasts. Inspiring stories which give faith in humanity. A real break. Having lived in France during my childhood and teenage years we have no idea how lucky we are with the quality of BBC radio content in this country.

Well done BBC World and long live the BBC.

These programmes never fail to amaze. I don’t know how the World Service manages to find so many heroes, time after time after time, with their own special and uplifting stories, but somehow they pull it off each time! Full marks to the interviewers, whose sensitivity also contributes to making these programmes outstanding.
