Love the podcast and most of the topics covered. Unfortunately Robin Ince is a pain to listen to: trying too hard to be funny with mostly stupid comments and adds nothing 🤷‍♂️

Great, knowledgeable and funny

The quality of this episode was awful. Providing half information is worse than not sharing anything.

The summery of it was calories are calories ( so according them does not matter if you eat a mars bar or a celery) Sport does not do any good- oh wait yes it does but let’s not get into it. And as the women at the end said doing some sport might be good but you can get injured.

What a load of rubbish.

Couldn’t believe the gaslighting and patronising of those who knew the pandemic was a scam. Why were no sceptical scientists or medics included as UCL was responsible for so much of the fear mongering and ludicrous govt policy? Also how come you included and praised one of the architects of the UK’s failed vax which has been quietly sidelined because of the harms and deaths it caused, especially to young males? This was known before this was recorded 11/22 and besides other countries declined or withdrew this poison before we did!

Completely different type of program. Irritating and patronizing

Had to switch of the perfect murder one they just go off on some tangent and Brian tries to actually talk about the subject but is then stopped by someone trying to be funny.

This is a great podcast, it constantly makes me laugh whilst also teaching valuable information. If I had one criticism, it’s that they keep plugging ‘Sideways’ pods or others, like honestly, I couldn’t give a damn about those. Otherwise, great job!

What happened to the show on the Australia sessions???

I love this show but I had to turn them off.

The panels were terrible.

Nothing less funny than people falling flat continuously on pre-scripted jokes.

Why is this Podcast being put on The Infinite Monkey Cage slot? Not happy .

I think that the infinite monkey cage is an extremely equal between funny and smart could be better if people stopped claiming that there is canned laughter as I have tuned in to a live podcast it is a live zoom audience that is laughing yea it sounds canned but it is just bc of zoom problems

Wanted the next episode of Infinite Monkey Cage, but some rubbish (Sideboard?) appeared instead. Sort your feeds out BBC!

You have not uploaded for a while and the laughter is so bad it happens when somebody says ‘herbs and spices’ and one one upload it laughs too quickly even before he finishes the ‘funny’ part. UPLOAD MORE!!

I was delighted by chance to tune into this podcast. I too was visiting Sydney . Agree with you both the night sky there is amazing. I am back in uk and guess you two are also.

Now for the scary spider episode. Been to Australia 6 times only, seen 1 dead male funnel web in this time. ( he had 2 legs missing, guess female bit them off).

Brian and Robin are one of those combinations that just works. Two middle aged men discussing (and gently arguing) about subjects that they don’t always know a lot about, with experts who do, is just so entertaining. It doesn’t matter what subject they cover, I know I’m going to be entertained, and, at the end of the show, better educated.

I love you podcasts and it is really funny and entertaining and most kids will find this interesting and that’s good because it will entertain them and also educate them this is funny keep up the good work :)

Why are you not posting any more podcast episodes? I want more Robin, I want more. Brian.

I love listening to Brian Cox and the passion he has for his subject. Sadly, he is paired with failed comedian Robin Ince and he ruins the show with his shambling, pointless jokes. He offers nothing, sadly unsubscribing.

Went to see this and was left apoplectic. Nobody was caged, not a monkey in sight and as for ‘infinite’ we were kicked out after 90 minutes like some common footyball people. Grrr. Have these people absolutely no idea who I think I am?

Yes the show was excellent-ish, but that’s not the point.

This show is good in all but you never upload it’s been almost a month!

Great show in the edited podcast, but if you ever get the opportunity to be in the audience, take it; the live show is so much better.

Excellent guests and of course Brian and Robin are naturally superb.

Sometimes the comedians on the panel can interfere with the smooth flow of the discussions, irritating!

I usually enjoy Monkey Cake and was really looking forward to listening to the episode from JPL on exploring our solar system - especially Mars and Europa. The scientific guests were excellent and fascinating but unfortunately a so-called comedian Connor O’Brian was allowed to drivel on and on with irritating comments so that I had to stop the podcast. Please no more of these imbeciles polluting a perfectly respectable popular science podcast - let the experts speak!

I have been both educated and entertained in equal measure. Listened to these more than once, great work

Absolutely superb science with comedy!

I love it. Very amusing, especially the one about black holes and robins cardigans. Also, I have learnt so much it. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely love the show and I like how funny it is, so that alone would be a 5 star review however we’re are the uploads??? It has been over a month since the last upload and I miss not having new episodes so please upload again.

I love every thing about this show but the canned laughter thank u very much so please next time add in the actual amount of laughter or none.

Love it always have but the audio laughing is so obviously edited in. Not sure why? Would be prefer no laughing or applause at all and just conversation if it isn’t live.

The programmes are so disappointing. People try too hard to be funny/ entertaining.

One learns nothing. The one about maths is an example. So much could have been said in how to teach it and reach out to kids. In stead very off putting. It’s badly taught from nursery onwards. Largely very dull.

I could literally listen to all these episodes over and over again! Truly brilliant!!!

Amazing funny . Witty just brilliant

The comedy can be a bit much at times. A tad silly. I find it so interesting when they grasp a topic/subject that really pulls them.

And why are there Americans on there. Their accents can spoil it. Apologies for the moan.

This podcast has been made irritating by canned laughter. I thought this was ditched decades ago.
