The WIRED UK team go into a lot more detail than most outlets on the impact of technology on society and manage to do so in an accessible and funny way. They’ve managed to engage more with the vibrant community recently and I would strongly recommend listening if you are at all interested in tech and how it’s changing our world.

Love the stories for their variety, multi faceted reporting. Give it a try.

This is easily my favourite tech podcast. The range of topics is excellent and they frequently engage with listeners on what they think of the topics discussed. The new book club is a nice addition

Often takes too long to actually get to the relevant information as the journalists waste a lot of time chatting between themselves without providing information at all or instead of shrinking the duration of the podcast, which is quite a waste of time really.

The wired podcast is good but the upvote podcast about the intersection of tech and politics is brilliant and I would love to see this diverse, insightful and interesting program get its own weekly podcast. There just isn’t anything else like it !!

I enjoyed listening to Upvote - an intelligent and different set of voices than I usually hear.

Then came Upvote 8, the election roundup. And a self-important, bubble-living special guest who made it all about her.( If only everyone agreed with her they could ALL have won!) Godawful to listen to and no attempt by the hosts to keep the show on track or on topic.

That show was so bad I've dumped an otherwise engaging weekly listen.

I like the wired podcast but have been forced to unsubscribe due to the fact it's now packaged with a podcast on politics and possibly some 'gear' podcast as mentioned last week. Seems obvious to separate podcasts on different subjects, but you are currently forced to download them all.

Have listened to this podcast for years. It provides a fun and informative overview on some interesting recent events. Would encourage a return to more debate on stories though. Definitely recommend!

Last episode was like an advert for Berlin. Deleted.

Love the one about ai

Love this podcast and it has become my "thing to listen to" when I'm out walking about. Very informative, superbly entertaining and turns even the most mundane of topics interesting and shows its relevance in everyday life.

I was bemused by the positive reputation of what turned out to be an excercise in information-light and smug forced levity from people whose families couldn't get them into real publishing. I let a long tail of unlistened editions pass by. Recent slightly more straight-faced episodes suggest someone at Wired Towers realised a cast of giggling sinecures wasn't their best option. Still not great.

Will some one please compress you audio files, they are MASSIVE compared to other podcasts… my phone can’t take it!!!

The content is relevant and interesting, but the presentation is bloated, over-long, rambling, full of umms and errs and the debates among the presenters sound like unresearched opinions from the 6th Form Common Room. It would be much better trimmed to 30 minutes!

I've lived in China since 2010 and use podcasts a lot here on things that interest me. Nate and the group seem to have a good knowledge about technology and their style is easy to listen to. It keeps me up to date with tech based stories and reviews and I respect their opinion, even if Nate loves Apple a little too much.

Unfortunately they've disappeared since the end of October. Hope they come back soon.

Well what has happened to my favorite tech podcast?? Where has Nate, Olivia and the rest gone?? Please come back soon as this podcast was consistantly informative and fun.

The hosts sometimes slip up on political and news stories. This is a dumbed-down and reactionary show. All the tech news is tabloid trash.

I hate the jingles and the illiteracy of these podcasters.

Their voices are jarring and brash and very loud.

Just wish it was longer or more than once a week.

Love how funny the commentary is an that it's up to date... It's geek central and covers all the topics of want.

Really enjoy the content however the constant punctuation with erm and sort of is v annoying.

Although it's nice to get a UK-centric view of technology it is really spoiled by the background noise. It's very quiet, but if you get distracted by extraneous sound, don't listen to this podcast! I kept thinking people were talking somewhere behind me. I tried sending them a message about it a month ago, but there continues to be the sound of people talking in the background. The same news is available in other podcast with better production values. Goodbye Wired.

Long time listener and fan of this podcast. Only problem is the splattering of ads which have been included lately, it spoils any flow and is just annoying. (I appreciate the financial support it must bring though)

I've been reading the wired magazine for quite a long time and I should say this podcast competes with the magazine itself!

Great content, which unfortunately 'comes off the boil' slightly with unnecessary filler, however, all in all a great bite size chunks of interesting and consumable (mostly relevant) information

I enjoy this podcast because of how the items are covered are differant and not just about shiny new phones and laptops (as nice as they are) also it is well presented by Nate and team who are very enthusiastic, lighthearted and generally fun.

Have been subscribed to this podcast you know giving it a go but today was really the final straw, firstly the presenters not knowing the true impact of what SOPA means to internet users, and I am sorry what the heck has toilet paper or folding it have to do with technology, yes I know they are supposed to be science culture and tech podcast but really toilet paper I guess that says it all what a great pile of…………..

I highly recommend the Wired Podcast not only because it is incredibly informative but also provides a wealth of inspirational insights from its knowledgeable yet humorous hosts. Download and you will certainly not regret it!

Every episode is full of interesting bits of news (science, tech etc.) and I always look forward to new episodes. This is by far the best science and tech podcast out there and is hosted by three brilliant people. I can't fault it.

Informative, well-paced, stays on topic; it is all the things you want from a technology podcast in one nicely produced weekly portion. I would definitely recommend it.

Keeps the ship steady. This podcast is informative, intelligent and interesting.

Contains none of that wishy washy American exuberance (is that how it's spelt?) yet keeps it very interesting. (sorry US listeners..nothing against the US at all)

You'll love this series - proper tech news mixed with more in-depth features and interviews. The chat and interplay between the presenters makes the whole thing fun to listen to but you still feel that you have learnt something at the end of it - a mix that not all podcasts or programmes manage to achieve. All led by Nate Lanxon, who holds the whole thing together but whose enthusiasm cannot be disguised.

Used to enjoy Nate when he was on CNET UK, he makes this podcast organised and informative but still fun to listen to.

Getting better every week and added to my must listen to list!! A must foe gadget fans.

Despite the confusing non chronological listing in iTunes Store (6 followed by 2?!), this is a fine podcast.

Does anybody else have the issue where the latest edition (i.e. 13th January 2011) is always some edition from about 12 months ago that's about gaming or is it just me?!
