The Citizen Kane of Movie Podcasts

You haven’t really heard a movie podcast until you’ve listened to The Projection Booth. Mike White’s attention to detail, levels of research and breadth of subject matter is astonishing, from obscure 60’s Czech cinema through to four hours on the original Star Wars in 1977. It is, simply, the best movie podcast out there. Get listening.

Great interviews

If you listen to enough podcasts you get pretty sick of the same celebrity doing the rounds of the major interview shows. I love to hear the more obscure character actors and b movie directors on Mike White's show who have a wealth of fascinating stories from their days in the industry.

Superb.

I’m pretty sure The Projection Booth is now my favourite podcast. Currently working my way through the older shows. The CALIGULA and STRANGE BREW shows were amazing, with fascinating interviews. Keep up the great work guys.

Excellent stuff.

A scarily professional and prolific podcast, this stands out as one of the best out there. I am always learning, even about films I love, and most of the interviews are absolutely fantastic.

Good Podast, Not Always for Me

This is a really interesting and in depth podcast which features some fascinating interviews. I wanted to spend some time reviewing a single episode though with which I was dissapointed. When I embarked on the journey of listening to the 6 hour Star Wars episode I was not prepared to spend that time hearing a group of men be so snarky and mean about this film which many love. The interviews are pretty fascinating but if you want to hear anything regarding warmth towards the film in the conversation sections I would avoid this particular one or just skip to the interviews, especially considering it is so long. Other than that I would reccomend, especially the Apocalypse Now episode which I found really interesting.

New Favourite Podcast

If you can make a 4-hour podcast about Batman Returns and it just flys by when you're listening, you're doing something right. None more in-depth, none more fascinating.

Superb and illuminating

This is without doubt the essential podcast for cinephiles. Each film profiled is forensically examined from its development to reception. The eps on Robocop and Manhunter might just be the best podcast you will ever hear.

Awesome and accessible podcast

A wonderful selection of movies from the obscure (Crime Wave) to the main stream (Robocop); Mike and Mondo Justin offer a podcast with real depth, excellent interviews with some of the key players both in fornt and behind the camera, and just the right mix of: tangential geekiness, whit, and journalistic style.
A must for any movie lover or those looking for a podcast with a bit 'more'.
