Paul Gambaccini gets ruder every series. He always seems so surprised when someone gets an answer right but is very dismissive when they get a question wrong. The endless name dropping is just tedious.

The balance between classical and pop has shifted markedly in recent seasons. Too much pop exotica and references to BBC shows and not enough questions on classical music. It used be a better test of a wide musical knowledge - now it sounds more and more like Ken Bruce’s show with a few classical titbits thrown in.

Counterpoint is great fun!

I love the five mystery specialist subjects. The questions are often fiendish. Could I put in a plea for more opera-based subjects in this round? Paul Gambuccini is the perfect host - he often offers a little clue, if you listen carefully to his remarks, especially when he thinks someone is struggling. I just wish this had more rounds!

I have found it extremely annoying to find that a large amount of my downloaded episodes have been deleted. I had two seasons of Counterpoint, Round Britain and Brain of Britain - all lost

The knowledge of some of the contestants is awesome!

I love listening to these but find it annoying that they are only held by iTunes for a limited time. Does it not occur to the BBC that people might like to listen to them more than once? Also, what am I supposed to listen to when they are off the air?

I have enjoyed the General Knowledge Quiz and Counterpoint but i cannot see the point of the round Britain Quiz?

The Teams are givern written knowledge of the questions and still cannot get annything right without being givern the answers almost by Tom Sutcliffe.
