I first started listening to IOT as a downloaded podcast on my commute into London over 6 years ago. It’s perfectly crafted and totally addictive. I’ve no idea how the subject matter is chosen. But the experts brought in to discuss this are expertly guided by Melvyn so that the layman can understand and more than that be drawn into the subject matter. I’ve been unable to find anything comparable. Truly one of a kind.

Agree with last review, extremely annoying when Melvyn interrupts his guests. I understand the need to keep time, however he often does it during an interesting point, or to mumble something of no value. Otherwise a great production

I love the podcast but it becomes so frustrating when Melvyn keeps interrupting his guests. The guests are the experts and he keeps interrupting and ruining their flow. It can be so annoying.

Contemporary so some of the topical ones age quickly; either keep up or download a theme and let history unfold itself in Your time

I love this podcast. If education is a right, its one you don't have to fight for too hard with this wonderful repository of intellectual curiosity.

In Our Time is the best programme ever. The wide range of subject matter and Melvyn Bragg's informed chairing of discussion with experts is an absolute joy to listen to. Wonderful, wonderful programme. I never have to listen to anything boring ever again on the radio now I have downloaded this brilliant resource of podcasts. There is always something to look forward to.
