The second funniest podcast in the podosphere. I'm prepared to listen to an hour and a half of Star Trek geekdom, knowing there will be enough humour, often very surprising and out of knowhere, which will make me spit out my cornflakes. Beyond the humour there is intelligent criticism of film & tv. Be prepared for proper British swearing!

I'm only a few episodes in, and the completist in me always likes to start at the very beginning, but this is already a winning format that I enjoy. The discussion is great, as is the variety of the films. Well done.

Two great personalities showing their love (and hate) for films; a duo that sidetrack into comedic squabbling as equally as putting forwards some great insight and discussion. Date rapist and proud, I love this podcast.

Great Podcast A+

I came across this podcast through other cult movie podcasts. As a Birmingham girl, Mike and Paul feel like listening to your two best mates arguing in the pub. I have them on when I drive to work and they have me in tears of laughter. I would wholeheartedly recommend the "Ghostbusters" and "South Park" episodes. Thanks for the hours of awesome entertainment guys!!

If you don't already listen then subscribe now! Nothing comes close to this in movie podcasts. Informative on movies new and old with lots of laughs.

Just recently got tuned in to these guys via GGTMC and love the dynamic between Mike and Paul. The central premise of film student vs everyman is clever and always leads to great banter between the hosts - I get odd looks on the train for laughing out loud at this but it's happened so often I barely notice any more. This podcast is also genuinely informative (even for film buffs) which is the key differentiator for me... Absolute quality! Would love to hear a review of Martyrs or Inside.

Easily my favourite podcast out there, and I listen to a lot. Always look forward to listening to these guys.

One question about the 200th episode. Is it wrong that the phrase Stroker vs Stroker really turned me on?

great film podcast with just the right amount of critique, bickering and filth. The love of film is clear to hear and it's nice to hear 2, often, different reactions to the same topic. Always funny, entertaining and never dull. Top stuff and replaced Mondo Movie as top recommendation albeit since that is almost sadly defunct.

Great movie review podcast covering a wide range of Movie genres. The hosts (Mike and Paul ) are a great double act that serves the format well.

Two mates sit around chatting about films. They laugh, they swear, they say insighful stuff. Learning about films was never this much fun! Awesome.

Mike and Si have a rapport that is cockle warming, I love listening to this show even when I have zero interest in the film in question. The ones I do know and love it's pure joy.

Rather fine, my favourite podcast bar none, and the one I always listen to before any others.

I've listened to Mike & Paul prattle on with themselves for over 100 episodes and I have to be honest, this is the BEST BRITISH PODCAST currently in production, these guys understand what how to make a film discussion interesting and ice that cake with lashings of humour.

It's all there in the title.

If you like movies and tv then you need to listen to these guys. Whatever previous knowledge you have I guarantee you will learn something. I discovered them just after the 100th episode.

.... with very entertaining banter and often differing opinions between the two hosts, so much so that I even listen to the Star Trek episodes and the ones with Jane in.

These two are funny and informative. Towards the end of each podcast they start sounding a bit slurry so I suggest necking a bottle of wine before listening. Two thumbs up!!

Every week, Mike and Paul serve up hilarious debate around a movie from the past, in a way that only two old friends could. This is honestly one of the best film shows around and I promise if you give them a chance you'll be addicted.

Found this after a trailer on better in the Dark. heard one on Last Starfighter and enjoyed it more than most podcasts I have heard. downloaded more to listen to. Cool!
