The podcast of David Eagle, Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian Of The Year and member of three-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award Winning group The Young'uns.
This podcast is absolutely bonkers and I love it. Ellie and David are both hilarious, Ellie’s laugh is infectious! I especially love herbal tea of the week (even though I don’t like tea), cassette roulette and the tales of harrowing journeys and gigs. Their podcast makes me properly laugh out loud!

Joyous Hilarity
David and Ellie make me laugh more in this joyous podcast than almost anything else. I came to it through my love of The Young’Uns and their wonderful podcast but this is a different beast. The herbal teas, the potatoes, the fact that David is just naturally hilarious, it’s just random, mad and joyful!

Always something to laugh about!
Such is your universal appeal Mr Eagle you’ve gone international, with this listener 8000 miles away in the Falkland Islands. It’s more than likely i’m your only international listener, but it’s a start. Difficult to describe this podcast - hard to imagine someone guessing the time, talking about herbal tea and reporting on potato growth being funny, but you manage to find away and I always look forward to more every Thursday. If i’m honest Ellie is definitely carrying you, but keep up the good work!

Just as funny as it was when I last left a review, in March 2020, but now with extra features

Very funny, good use of parrots
Very funny, eclectic, good ear for parrot song. Shocked you couldn’t ID the foxes mating call, though. Similar appears on virtually every episode of Midsomer Murders ever. However, this is funny in itself, so 5 stars ;-)

Consistently funny
The David Eagle Podcast is one of my favourites, I never know what to expect when a new episode lands on my phone but it’s a brilliant combination of comedy, music, observations, chat and general silliness.
If you’ve not listened to it before I’d recommend starting with the daily episodes from the first lockdown and dip into some of the older ones too!
