Genuinely funny and hosted by two great mates with great chemistry - this is always a joy to listen too and makes Monday’s that little less grim.

Their Big Sandwich content is brill too, no snitches.

Endless humour and geekdom content, what more could you want from a podcast?

I hope that one day James can come to grips with his obsession with animated Robin Hood characters ;p

And you can take that to the bank...but they will turn you away.

My longest listened to podcast and I love it! Been a listener since early 2015 and I haven’t missed an ep. If you are interested in movies/tv-shows and like to chuckle this podcast is for you!

Great podcast with awesome insight from two charismatic blokes.

Smart, funny, all that... but once you notice how often they say “they’re like” or “and I’m like” etc you won’t be able to hear anything else and you’ll wanna shoot yourself.

But it’s good, yeah.

This is a podcast about loving cartoon animals too much disguised as a podcast about red hot comic book movie news. A scam, pure and simple.

5 stars though.

Mainly because I subscribed on this one and the big sandwich feed. And can’t be bothered to unsubscribe from this one . Anyways still great a second or third time round . It’s like listening to two mates having a chin wag over a pint / flavoured cider .

Love this podcast, I have been listening for years and it just keeps getting better. It manages to

provide all the news about comics and movies and TV shows I could want, whilst also never failing to

make me laugh. Some people might say the in jokes are a bit much but I will always be one of their biggest defenders -DEFENDERS OF THE EARTH, DEFENDERS! OUT OF THE SKY HIS ROCKETS IGNITE! JETS INTO BATTLE, FLIES FASTER THAN LIGHT! FLASH GORDON! LORD OF THE JUNGLE, THE HERO WHO STALKS! THE BEASTS CALL HIM BROTHER, THE GHOST WHO WALKS! PHANTOM! DEFENDERS OF THE EARTH!- and will continue to recommend them to everyone I know. 5 stars.

Definitely my favourite podcast. The lads are hilarious. A personal favourite part of the show is when James loses it with laughter from time to time and can barely talk👌🏾👌🏾

I listen to the lads when I’m working with my headphones in and the amount of times Iv burst out laughing only to be met by strange looks from people in the office. Proper good lads that always cheer me up 👍🏼

But seriously, worth the 5 stars just to hear James slowly lose his mind and forever contemplate doing a dirty bulk.

Well gents after 4-5 years of listening to the podcast, I’m finally writing a review. I don’t know where to begin...

The best thing you two lads do is make everyone feel like they know you, which is weird because I know literally nothing about masons personal life, and all I know about James is that he has 3-4 kids, and is tired all the time or something.

If by some miracle this is read out on the pod (idk where you get the reviews from tbf) then I would like you to know that I perceive my weeks by how many days left until the next episode.

ps. Please fix the theme, I’m 19 and it cringes me out

When I started listening to the pod I was 15 and still in school. I’m now 21 with a job and I am moving to a new city in the summer. Made me feel really old (but James and Mason are older) and i can’t believe I’ve been listening for so long. Thanks for being such a big part of my life and shout out to my best friend Gareth who has been listening just as long!

A fantastic pod, I’ve listened every week since the beginning, the guys are very entertaining. Their humorous rapport and causal approach makes for a personable pod. Its support and friendly community are testament to the love for James and Mason’s creative creation.

On a personal note, I, like James, also really fancied Disney’s Maid Marian #maidmarianisafoxyfox perhaps it’s a child of 83 thing...

This guy is brilliant. The 2 Australian voices he does are a bit similar but after a few years you can almost tell them apart. Always nearly funny but could do with a bit more Star Wars news.

If you’re looking for a podcast, you have indeed found one here thanks to the delightful James and Maso. I’ve listened every week since Batman V Superman religiously and even conned some friends and loved ones into listening to it too.

Hahaha they thought it would be a cooking podcast but instead they had comic book movie news shot straight up their buttholes.

Listened every week since 2015, the boys never fail to improve my mood. Somebody saaaaave me!

And as a dad I really appreciate it ;-)

Tom’s Roast Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

Chicken (brined if possible)

Paprika

Rosemary

Garlic powder

Bulb of garlic

A few white onions

Potatoes (I would recommend Marie piper)

Parsnips

Carrots

An oven

Preheat oven to 200C

Prepare a (boiled) bed of root vegetables - potatoes, onions, carrots, parsnips. When you’re done with them, they go into the oven. You can do this stage as early as you’d like, the longer the better.

Peel a bulb of garlic (more if you want) and one white onion (or as many onions as chickens you are making).

Prepare a ramikin, make a mix of powdered garlic, rosemary and paprika (and salt, unless the chicken has been brined). You’ll probably want the ratio to be mostly paprika, like 60%. Use either oil or water to mix.

Put the garlic under the chicken’s skin, but MOSTLY on the back (side with the spine)

(If the chicken comes with giblets, you can either toss these into the oven on top of the potatoes or freeze them for later use in soup/stock)

Brush or massage the herb/spice mix into the skin of the chicken.

Take the potatoes out of the oven (be careful!) and lay the chicken onto them, spine DOWN (legs up - like the lithotomy position). Roast for 30 minutes. Set a timer.

After 30 minutes, TURN OVER YOUR CHICKEN.

Reapply paprika et al if necessary (better to dust from a raised surface). If you want a crunchy, burnt paprika taste add a second layer. If not, just the one. Depending on the size of the chicken, you may have to lift it up slightly to do the sides again too. Don’t worry about the mix coming off, it will improve the potatoes, which will hopefully end up soaked and roasted in chicken juice and garlic.

Put back in the oven for 45 minutes.

After removing the chicken, cover in foil and let rest for at least 10 minutes, or until you get hungry.

I would recommend secateurs for cutting the chicken, but a carving knife will also work.

Chicken leftovers can also be consumed cold - delicious in a sandwich or with some sweet chilli sauce.

Listen as they creak and sway at the 45 minute mark of every episode yet critically analyse the themes and motifs of WandaVisiom. This podcast is well worth a listen whether you’re an upstanding gent, lady, or otherwise

If you like Star Wars, the MCU and general nerd culture, this is the perfect podcast!

The chemistry of the two hosts is brilliant and I regularly get to the end of an episode absolutely shocked that I’ve managed to listen to an hour and a half without getting bored or distracted.

James and Maso’s discussion of films and TV shows is regularly more enjoyable than the actual films and TV shows themselves!

If you need your weekly nerdy updates on all the goings on then absolutely give this a listen! it’s also educational, you can learn loads about different subjects like how “westworld” means reading in Australian. On top of all of that the most impressive feat is they manage to wrangle a goat into the studio every week to host the podcast!

I’m just saying that in hopes of it ending up on the side of a tram, but it is really good

I’ve looked high and low but this is the best anti Marlon Brandon podcast on the internet. Coincidentally it is also the best pro Elon musk (elongated Muskrat) podcast on the market too.

A truly spiffing good podcast that any man, dog, woman or child can enjoy

Very funny and my main source of comic book movie news as I’m lazy and don’t like reading. If I had to complain about anything, they push the other shows on their network too hard (guest appearances etc) for my liking. But that’s their right, and it’s where the money comes from, so I’ll just shut up.

These two used to be great, they were more in the middle when they were smaller now they lean left far too much and it’s dreadful to listen to. They won’t read both sides of any story and side with the lefties each and every time. I used to look forward to this podcast every week. Shame.

Hilarious comedy and actually quite intellectual film discussion - which is surprising. My only criticism is they haven’t read my email question out - selfish!

This is the best podcast it’s got all my favourite things.

I forgot to listen one week, and my appendix decided to nearly burst forcing an appendectomy. Coincidence?! Every other time I’ve listened the week the show came out my appendix has been fine. Heed this warning and listen to this awesome podcast, as I am doing from hospital, or this too could happen to you. Fair warning.
