Brilliant!

I think this is quite simply the greatest podcast out there. But, er, I present it... so perhaps I am biased.

Good, but...

Any chance you can add descriptions to each episode? There’s no way of knowing what’s in each of you’re using the iOS podcast app. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Great guests but...

This has some fantastic guests and is a must listen for people interested in the media. But, the host, while clearly knowing his stuff, works against its potential. He's relentlessly sycophantic to all guests (even Satan himself, Alastair Campbell) and talks far too much - interrupting, talking about himself (ex-Labour councillor, wife, teetotal, vegetarian), name dropping, finishing guests' sentences, giving his opinions. If he was more selective with his contributions, this would be an exceptional and less irritating listen.

Too fast!

Someone needs to slow this down. Being played at the wrong speed! Can’t listen to the Yelland one

Good but some opportunities

Overall I really enjoy the podacsts and am imprssed at the calibre of guests he is able to get. Very large range and diverse. As a suggestion / observation, Paul could let the guests talk and interupt rest and hold back on his views (or turn the podcast into a discussion versis intervoew show?) and ideally dial down on the anti-brexit and anti-Trump views which seem to be weaved into every episode. They are imortant issues but can become and take up more time than needed on a media podcast versus a political one.

Mr

I have listended to quite a few of these now, and the host has a really relaxed unflappable interviewing style whoever the guest is, be it a Knight of the realm or a spotlight hungry mouthpiece. He lets them do the talking which is refreshing and the payback are some absolute gems. These Podcasts are much more than an insight into the Media world, they are informative, interesting, and inspiring, with some great lessons about succeeding in business as a whole from experienced people who have been an done it. This podcast has now become a regular feature in my podcast subscription. Highly recommended.

Great interviews, but often tips into sycophanticism

I love this show but I find Paul's frequent references to his premium PR clients grating (sometimes feels like a not-so-subtle advert for his business) and the endless compliments to the interviewee a bit unnecessary. On fine form interviewing Katie Hopkins, who is artfully dealt with!

Outstanding

Great interviewing, top notch production, and a diamond of a host. A podcast that surpasses radio quality and becomes next level.

Simply Brilliant

This podcast has become one of my favourites since I first discovered it. It is definitely the best of the "inside media" podcasts that I listen to.
Paul has a great interviewing style, which really comes to the fore in the longer form episodes where he gives the guest the space they need to answer.
