Sideways look at the World

I have kept subscribing and listening since the handover from Matt, Mike, Mike and Len (not to forget the fabulous Annette). Obviously it’s different and I have got to know the new cast and their personalities. I like the slightly irreverent tone. What I find difficult is the “zoo” format when they all talk over each other. It’s not easy to follow and I think I would enjoy the podcast more if the host could keep a bit of order and have one voice talking at a time.

The Most Informative Disney Podcast

I subscribe to a number of different Disney podcasts and this is the one I go to when I need actual facts. The chemistry between the podcasters is great and very entertaining, especially when the entire gang is on.
So why not five stars? The one and ONLY reason I'm not rating this a five is because the audio quality needs addressing. Most of the time it is ok, sometimes there's echoes and occasionally it's terrible. I'd really like it to be as good as some of the others.
Don't let that put you off listening though, it's a testament to how good the show is that I have listened for years despite the recording quality.

Everything you will need.

This Podcast is the most helpful Disney Podcast when planning a trip to Disney World. Matt, Len, Mike Newell and Mike Scopa are the best or at least on a par with Lou Mongello. 3 shows a week and over 1000 shows already in the can. I love it and look forward to every show.

Just brill

Great podcasts, always consistently good. Cover wide and contrasting parts of wdw. Also you do not need to be a Disney super fan too listen to these podcasts either. Each podcast helps in little ways too plan your next trip to the best place in the world.

5 stars...

5 stars...because there are 5 stars. This allows you to feel like you're not missing the place. Even when you're 4226 miles away in Wigan. Uk

A solid Disney World Podcast with just a few negatives

A good solid three times a week show all about Walt Disney World, with a diverse team of Disney Experts. I have listened to this show for over three years, and only missed a few episodes. I must say I really enjoy it, and the short episode length is both a good and bad thing.
With an average of about 20 minutes, it great to listen on a commute to work, or during a quick workout or jog, but also because of its short length it can sometimes not be as detailed as a trip planner may want it to be. However the variety of topics covered are vast, and the back catalogue extremely valuable for trip planners.
The longest show each week at about 30 minutes is the email show, which offers listeners a chance to email questions in. Great idea, but in practice this only partially works, as the emails are usually ridiculously out of date by the time they get to them, to be of little or no use to the actually sender. They often joke about this fact, but the joke is wearing a little thin now.
The panel are a very mixed bunch of personalities. There is one who studies all the statistics about the parks like Q Times, advises best days to go and authors a book about touring Disney (and also sounds and speaks just like the mailman character from Cheers, with a very similar personality too!). Another, who is more like the host, is an expert on Hollywood Studios. He comes across as the most likely to have an open opinion on WDW, but sometimes speaks so fast you can't actually understand what his opinion is. There is an older guy who comes across as a child hating grumpy mafia boss, very set in his ways, with an obsession with marathon running at WDW (yawwnnnn!!!). Next we have a really friendly laid back character, who has expert knowledge about all the audio and music used at WDW. Finally there is one female panel member, who seems to be actually the most knowledgeable, but often gets talked over. They also have guests quite often.
Lots of in jokes, but also lots of valuable information too. Sometimes though they are a bit flaky on the facts about things – and their latest info is only as good as how they last remembered it to be, rather than checking latest details.
On the whole a great show, great team of presenters, very enjoyable, very few better podcasts exist on this subject.

Refreshingly regular!

Hi guys, when I say regular I don't mean average, I mean 3 times a week. I love the idea of soundbites often. I can totally appreciate the time involved to do this. I've only recently found your show, as I thought it was a different one of a similar name. Keep it going, your podcast is different from the rest.

"Outstanding"

A great Disney podcast that is released trice a week for about 30 mins a show. So in total your weeks worth is an hour and half which seems the norm for people like Lou and Adam over at Disney Brit.
I love this show becuase its varied and it has Len Testa on it who is the author of the most detailed bible on Disney parks ever.
Lots on in jokes but its a great show which wonderful topics and a wednesday question slot which runs about 11 months behind LOL. All part of the fun.Well Done Guys (and Annette)

Informative from experts, yet funny

Only got 20 minutes? Then you can listen to an entire episode of this Podcast. Up to five experts in Walt Disney World get together three times a week. Twice a week they talk about specific topics; once a week they answer listener's questions (but they have a backlog of about 5 months).
There are over 650 episodes produced already, categorised in their own Wiki, so if you want to hear about a specific topic, you can do.
They also do live shows, so that you can phone in with your question and get it answered live, most of which are at 2 a.m. British time, but occasionally they have one earlier - check their website for details.
The juxtaposition of their personalities are such there is a real camaraderie, yet it goes into the realm of funny surreal often (e.g. drinking Maple Syrup).
Overall, one of the best Podcasts on Walt Disney World.

Best Disney podcast ever!

I have been listening to these guys for a few years and they are knowledgable and fun to listen to. Listen in, read the wiki, join the discussions and buy the unofficial guide (ding!). Great all round banter with lots of useful information for anyone visiting or interested in Disney World.

One of, if not the best Disney Podcast

This is one my two favorite Disney Podcasts, but this is definetly my favorite in terms of fun. The guys on the show are all different in their personalities but they obviously get on well and have a lot of fun doing what they do. A great source of information. Go to their Wiki site to get the lowdown on all the "in jokes"
