Fabulous podcast. Always educational and entertaining. Would love to hear one about the cockney dialect as there are so many of my grandma’s sayings that I have never heard anyone else say. Such richness and humour.

How can anyone give this less than a five star rating? I mentioned it to my adult daughter a couple of weeks ago, and now we compare notes on the episodes we’ve been listening to when we talk on the phone. Michael Rosen is not only the Greatest Living Englishman, but he has given us a podcast which is educational, informative and entertaining. Love it!

A very informative and interesting podcast about the English language, presenters are well informed and enthusiastic, but this is sometimes to their detriment as the regularly (every episode) will talk over and interrupt guests. Very annoying
