The iFanboy.com Comic Book Podcast is a weekly talk show all about the best new current comic book releases. Lifelong friends, Conor Kilpatrick and Josh Flanagan talk about what they loved and (sometimes) hated in the current weekly books, from publishers like Marvel, DC, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, BOOM! Studios, IDW, Aftershock, Valiant, and more. The aim is to have a fun time, some laughs, but to also really understand what makes comic books work and what doesn’t, and trying to understand the craft of this great, often under appreciated art form. Sometimes they agree, and sometimes… they don’t. With decades of experience talking about comics, interacting with comic book professionals, this is all about the love of an art form. An amazing listening experience!
First podcast I listen to every week, nuff said!!! Seriously though, an amazing show for comics fans. Conner and Josh’s interplay and insights are fantastic and have hugely enhanced my comic reading experience, while the various other guests, such as Ryan, never fail to please when they make an appearance. I subscribe to a vast number of podcasts but if I had to sacrifice all of them bar one, iFanboy would be the one I kept!
Give a listen, enjoy, then subscribe - oh and maybe go become a patron too and get a superpower to boot (skin that can’t be affected by friction over here 😀)

This podcast is so much a part of my weekly comic reading experience that I can’t imagine life without it!
Connor, Ron and Josh are three affable jamokes who regale us with their always witty and often wise views on the week’s new comic releases, and they never fail to raise some smiles or indeed laugh-out-loud moments in every episode.
If you are the “Wednesday warrior” type of comic fan who likes to keep up to date with the newest releases, then I would highly recommend checking this podcast out.

I’ve been listening to this comics podcast for 14 years and every week it delivers many tales and quips guaranteed to make you roar with laughter.
Never a dull moment, with Ron yearning for one more great X-Men story, Connor wanting to get on with it and Josh’s perceptive sarcasm providing entertainment galore. It’s as much about the hilarious dynamic between the three presenters as the comic content that they are expertly knowledgeable about.

The Best Comics Podcast
I've been a longtime listener for iFanboy for a number of years and I can honestly say it's the best comic book podcast out there. I've listened to a lot of others but Ron, Josh and Conor give the most in depth, balanced and funny views on comics. They don't pander to the big companies like some do, or to audience opinion and give open and honest views on the pros and cons of comics and the industry in general. They've got me reading a lot of book I probably never would have otherwise. Keep up the good work guys!

Love It!
Great show. Full of infectious humour and enthusiasm for comics. Got me back into comics a few years ago. In fact the show was enough fun for me to listen to before I started reading them again. The cast have wonderful chemistry and combine irreverent humour with real passion and knowledge of the subject to create a great listen.

Comic podcast mainstay
This is a longstanding comic book podcast that, in my opinion, is also the best.
I have been collecting comics for the past thirty-six years and always discover worthwhile titles to pick up and try with this weekly discussion show.
It does, as they people involve clearly claim at the beginning, contain spoilers but I prefer to think of the show featuring a great overview to titles that you may not be reading.

Love comics
I love comics but I don't read them right now, don't need to cos I have these guys to tell me about them on a weekly basis. I could tell you who my favourite writers are even though I don't think I've read anything they have written. one day may have time to sit down and read some books I hear about, until then I'll enjoy them by listening to ifanboy.

The best comics podcast
This is the best comic book podcast available on itunes. Informative, helpful and really really funny. The great chemistry of the hosts makes this a joy to listen to whilst out and about. Look out for any issues with an angry rant or a long sidetracked conversation about GI Joe, just make sure your not in a public place when you burst out laughing.

This podcast never fails to entertain! It is obvious that the hosts know exactly what they are talking about and this passion makes the podcast worth listening to. As a regular listener for the past three years I can quite honestly say that this podcast is by far the best out there for comic book reviews, news and information! Keep up the good work!

In the ocean of comic-book related podcasts, the iFanboy Pick of the Week is one of the very best. Consistently entertaining and frequently laugh-out loud funny (especially if you like Eddie Vedder impressions), it also makes you want to go back and re-read the comics they have reviewed. You may not always agree with Josh, Connor and Paul (and Ron, if you are go into the archives), but you have to agree that they all deeply committed to their love of comics.

Comics and (sometimes intentional) Comedy: What more could you want?
I was floundering in a sea of confusion. I love comics, but had no money and no idea what was happening in the comic book world at the time. I searched for "comics" in the iTunes search thing, and this gem, this beauty of a podcast was the first thing to come up. And I haven't stopped listening since.
Yes, they spoil some of the stories, so don't listen if that's your thing, but the level of skill they exhibit in reviewing teh books, answering the questions (emails and voicemails) and just producing the podcast is incedible. They all bring a different view to the books, and when mixed, it can distill the essence of the book into such a potent concoction that you can really see the craft involved, and appreciate the artform. Or Ron can butcher a name, Josh call him out, and Conor will assess the temperature. Either way it's an oft hilarious, always informative, great show.

I love this bloody show!! Ron is a bit annoying but at least he amuses him self? But thats a minor annoyance when you look at the show as a whole!! I command any and all to d/l this show!! It rocks hard!!!

The best comic review podcast out there
I've been listening to this for a few months now and it's hands down the best comic review podcast I've found. The hosts are charming, passionate (even when faced with an overload of DC relaunches), knowledgeable and, crucially, interesting. They engage with the art and writing in a fun but considered way, and don't get bogged down in stale nerd arguments - exactly what I want from reviewers.

Great podcast
Loved this podcast ever since I got into comics a few years ago. It's funny, informative and usually flies by. A great dynamic between the three guys and their occasional substitutes makes you feel like you're listening to friends, although one has the tendency to sound a little arrogant and that he's got the hardest job in the world. Other than that- RECOMMENDED!

This podcast is well put together by 3 friends who know what they're talking about. I love it. They have their own cliques but try out other things when tempted. My favourite part is reviewing the books. Not too bothered about emails or voicemails. Well done guys

Top podcast!
Really, really good podcast - every week this is at the top of my listening list.
After listening to other comics podcasts for a while, I realised that this was easily the one I enjoyed the most. The guys passion for comics, knowledge and friendship really shines through every week. Also, what really sets it apart is the professionalism of the podcast - very well produced (without being overly slick) and well-prepared, with no pauses or gaps or 'ums' like you get with a lot of podcasts.

Entertaining, Informative and Frequently Funny
I went looking for a comic book podcast whose opinions I could trust as I buy quite a lot of books and find that 90% of people with opinions on what's good and what isn't are talking utter crap. Enter Ron, Josh and Hunter* who have been responsible for me spending thousands of pounds on books they've recommended and the vast majority of the time I have not been disappointed. Invincible, Queen and Country and Starman are just a few examples of now-favourite series I hadn't heard of before discovering this podcast.
A word of warning regarding Ron. You do need to take his opinions with a grain of salt as they are sometimes based on anything other than the story being appraised at the time. He'll dislike a comic for bizarre emotional reasons, because of things that happened in his past, or because its place in continuity is questionable. Ron is perhaps the most passionate of the three but his view is more subjective and personal, so it's not as easy to work out what you as the listener will also enjoy reading. He believes that the terrible X-Men comics of the 90s were superior to Grant Morrison's masterful New X-Men run. Yes opinions are different for everybody but in this case he's just plain wrong. But on the other hand without Ron I wouldn't have got into Nova, Guardians of the Galaxy and numerous other favourites. Or laughed so hard at the fact that he can't pronounce many words, including "symbiote".
I wasn't anywhere near as interested in comics as I am now when I started listening to ifanboy, (and that's probably WHY I am more into them now), so at first I frequently knew nothing about the books they were discussing but it didn't matter, the three lads have such different characters, such charisma and such chemistry together that it remains engaging, and it's often at its most entertaining when they deviate from the plan and go down some weird cul de sac or other. I've frequently burst out laughing at work when listening to the podcasts, I'm glad they don't edit these bits out as some podcasts do as these occasionally-personal in-jokes add a level of humour and character that others lack. ifanboy has numerous other contributors but it's telling that episodes are never as enjoyable when one of the main Trinity is away for an episode.
With written articles, video and ausio podcasts, and some of the best content on the web, ifanboy is the result of years of hard work by three top blokes who talk with passion and intelligence about their chosen subject. Highly recommended for experienced comics fans and new readers alike.

Easily the best comics podcast
I got into reading comics just over a year ago and was looking for a podcast to help expand my knowledge and improve my reading experience. After trying several podcasts and being disappointed, I struck gold with iFanboy.
Listening to this podcast for the last year and hugely enhanced this hobby for me, and has lead to me buying far more weekly books than I ever imagined I would.
Huge thanks to Ron, Conor and Josh for this great podcast. Highly recommended.

Can't afford to drink alcohol anymore
This podcast is awesome. I originally read comics between 1997 and 2000 while at University. However as I was spending too much money on them I kicked the "habbit". Earlier this year my brother (who doesn't read comics) introduced me to this podcast and I have enjoyed every single one. For me, listening to some random American dudes talk about comics chills me out and I can't imagine not listening to it every week on my way to work. It certainly allows me to escape from my 'real-world' of teaching. Be warned though, during my early days of listening to the podcast I resisted buying the comics that they were talking about. However, over the last few months I have found myself buying more and more comics thanks to the ramblings of the dudes at Ifanboy.
If you like comics you must listen to this.

These guys have opened me up to a world of new comics, which, while my bank balance hates you, i appreciate.

Best Comic Podcast
This is easily the best comic book podcast currently available. Ron, Connor and Josh all have very different tastes in comics, meaning you get very well crafted reviews on all kinds of comics books. Highly recommended.
