I really love listening to this podcast as it feels like a chat in the pub with two very funny mates. It is addictive - you’ll end up bingeing it!

One of the best!

Great podcast- really funny and entertaining on a fascinating subject. Be careful as very easy to get addicted and start looking at anyone in your life with a hint of suspicion.

The murders are the best part.

I started in 2021 at the behest of my partner and I really enjoyed the dynamic of Kiri and Rachel and happily went through 70+ episodes. Now though, having just finished episode 90, I’m not enjoying it as much. More and more time is dedicated to whatever petty slights have aggrieved Rachel that particular week and it’s become the grimmest part of THE MURDER PODCAST.
The early episodes up through 70 are really damn good, highly recommended and after that will be down to personal taste.

Bloomin love it!!!

Bloomin love this podcast! Just how my brain works! So bang on on the serious bits…then a wonder through the minds of these total mega babes!!!
Could not recommend this enough so well done, super respectful to the victims and so many laughs. I’ve been binge listening for the last couple of weeks! Brilliant accompaniment to a glass of wine while cooking tea!

It’s interesting in parts, but there is far to much off topic nonsense. Two part episodes could easily be cut down to one. Guess some people might like that, but I find it frustrating.

I love these amazing podcasters!
Both hosts are so naturally funny, but also not insensitive when it comes to the crimes they are talking about.
I could listen to their banter all day, it’s a good job I work alone, as I am always breaking out into snorts of laughter.

Brilliant!

Makes me so happy! Saved my sanity during lockdown and I often listen whilst doing lengths in the pool in the gym and confuse the other swimmers when I randomly burst out laughing when listening. Can’t wait for some live shows - keep up the good work ladies!

Yes there is filla but that’s what makes this show so good. Kiri and Rachael use humour to show what utter tosspots serial killers are. Love it.

I’ve started with the Aileen Wournos episodes…which spent about 10 minutes on topic and the rest of it was just chit chat about nothing. Can’t see myself trying any more episodes.

Love this podcast. Despite having completely different political beliefs, and believe me, the authors can be quite forward, this is one of the very best true crime podcasts. Their sense of humour is sharp and clever, their story-telling gripping and I am incredibly impressed with every episode. One of the best podcasts of all time!

The only podcast I’ve ever felt compelled to go back and listen to the entire back catalogue.

Unlike other true crime podcasts Kiri and Rachel speak about the victims and the horrible crimes with sensitivity and empathy so I know I’m in safe hands when I tune in. They are both seriously funny women.

The earlier episodes were really good and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to them!! But I reached the Aileen Wuornos episode(s) and it was just sooooo much waffle. From the hour long episode I had to keep double-checking I was actually still listening to a podcast about the serial killer, or their lives? Which is a shame because I was really looking forward to ‘Aileen Wuornos’ but it was like “come on, talk about her then”. I like a bit of off-topic chit chat now and again, but that was just annoying (sorry!)
More killa, less filla and this podcast would be 10/10.

I have only recently discovered this podcast, so have been going back to the start. Find myself belly laughing at some of the tangents they go off on (Bart Simpsons backside springs to mind!) Great content, very informative , and hilarious. It’s honestly like you’re in the room having a girls night, and you happen to be chatting about serial killers. Highly recommend

Don’t take the title too seriously, there’s a lot of filler but it’s always hilarious anecdotes or titbits. Great story telling too and they really put in the research!

I very much enjoy this podcast! I think the hosts are really funny at the right times. They manage to make me laugh during such horrible stories and genuinely this has been my go to podcast recently. This was the first podcast I ever listened to and boy had it spoilt me!
Kiri and Rachel are amazing hosts and tackle each episode mindfully bearing in mind the victims but also with their side achingly northern humour.
If you lose your podcast virginity here you won’t be disappointed (until you run out of episodes and are trying to find something else to listen to that even comes close).
Start with the best, then at least you still have the rest ;-)

So funny, I love it, but mistake on the name.

I started this podcast because I was sick of the extra crap people talk about in other true crime podcasts. After listening to a few episodes I realised that name ‘no filla’ did not reflect the podcast content at all. However, I have fallen in love with these hilarious women.
Loads of the episodes at the start are full of serial killer content then it becomes 50/50 and I do love the chat, the supercool female power and the observational humour. If you are looking for an in depth story of a serial killers rampage the first 20 episodes are that. I really would stick with it though as these women are really funny.
My only gripe is that kiri and Rachel complain about the bad reviews, it’s everyone’s rite to express their opinion and you guys really can’t complain about people being annoyed about the ‘filla’ when you’ve falsely advertised in the name. Ha! I personally love it all though x

Have listened to this podcast on and off for a long time. Generally I enjoy it, but just lately I think they are running a little thin on material by focusing on just serial killers - maybe extend it to famous or mysterious murders?
The podcast is what it is and be warned the hosts do often go off on long and usually personal tangents that, whilst quite funny, might frustrate a new listener who wants to hear more detail.
Overall I enjoy this podcast but it’s best listened to when you can set aside a proper amount of time to listen to the whole thing in one go.
The obsession with Manchester and “the north” in general can get a bit tiresome. Ok - so you’re friendly up there we get it etc but let’s face it the whole of the north west apart from the Lakes is a dump and most of you move south at the first opportunity, never to return but to instead constantly whinge to us southerners about how much better “the north” is.
Oh, and there’s some bloke called Will Duggun who gets an obligatory mention in EVERY episode. I don’t know if he’s real or if it’s just some in joke but I have a private little bet with myself before each new podcast on how many minutes it will be until his name crops up. Maybe he is their only friend.
