Great to have you back lads! Lots more fishing podcasts now however you were the first one I ever listened too and still the best one out there.

Plenty of banter, news and honest views. (I might not agree with it all but that’s what it’s all about!) Loved hearing from Mark Holmes - loads of quality no nonsense info that I find myself tapping into my phone for later use!

Mark and Jamie have kept me company on the bank for most of my recent fishing. Some of the interviews have been fantastic and well worth referring back to if you're presented with a challenging fishing situation. The 'blokey' banter is refreshing for an expat in Holland too. I miss it and hope it returns asap although I can appreciate the work and effort involved - especially chasing people for interviews. Most podcasts carry some form of advertising, it's not hard to forward through this. It's fair enough for Jamie to raise awareness of NAS and VIP Holidays after the time he's invested providing a podcast. For me, it's far more entertaining than listening to Radio4 on LongWave or The World Service, back in the day.

My only gripe is the use of 'Europe' as though it's one place / country. Try telling the French, Dutch, Germans, Spanish and Danes they're all the same : ) Also, fishing in France is NOT just pay lakes stuffed with named known fish - try the Rhone, Moselle, Seine, Lot and thousands of other 'bits of blue' that are wild, unknown, unchartered and aren't doing 'all day breakfasts' and a lodge with Sky TV - it's there if you look for it. Ask Samir@Nash about The Pyrenees or John Timmermans about his adventures. Personally, I'm relieved I'm not fighting for swims on daytickets, or waiting to become the 74th angler to catch a 'known fish' from a syndicate, forget that!

Fave story is the Banana Common from The Shropshire Mere - a classic carp legend, love it!

Sorry to say but since Jamie relocated to Eastern Europe for his holiday venture, the podcast has seriously gone downhill. No idea when episodes are going to be uploaded, if I was a paying member I would feeling ripped off & wanting a refund. What was one of the best things on the internet with regards to carp fishing, it has been superseded by other similar podcasts both in content & regularity of production. I feel sorry for Mark as I know if he was more tech savvy, he would have an episode monthly or more. Jamie should pass the podcast over to someone that actually wants to do it & let him concentrate on his other ventures like NAS & VIP holidays.

Used to be ok, Watson is never a presenter and comes across poorly. Clossick just uses it to sell his holidays now. Mark Bryant’s Baitworks podcast is far far better

I absolutely love this pod cast, to be honest it’s the first I’ve listened to after my wife suggested looking at them.

I’ve now listened to every single one I can find and enjoyed every second.

When I’m in the car or van it’s on, when I’m fishing it’s on and it’s just thoroughly entertaining.

Normal guys that chat about all things fishing and some other stuff too.

I just need to work out how to get all the older ones to listen to now.

I discovered the carp cast last year and I’ve been listening back from episode one and catching up ever since.

I listen whilst travelling to work and while I’m in the bank and at the time of writing I am currently up to episode 66!

I’ve learnt so much from mark and Jamie and listening to their guests and I know that I’m a better angler for it.

Brilliant shows and long live the carp cast!

Great podcast if your into Carp fishing, full of well known special guest anglers with plenty of tips and tactics to help you improve your own fishing and some of there own stories on there ups and downs. The 2 nods that present it, Mark and Jamie, are top blokes with a wealth of knowledge between them and some comedy gold at times!! Well worth a listen 👌🏼

By far the best podcast I listen to, it has everything humour, in depth discussion about rigs truly brilliant! Also Mark and Jamie have so much passion it just makes you want to go fishing!

Jamie and Mark are thoroughly entertaining with their opinions on all carp fishing news. They also give true reviews on the odd bit of tackle. The best thing by far are the interviews with some really great guests giving an insight into their angling. Awesome pod-cast and it's free!
