Chicken Pox is sweeping Greendale and Pat is kept busy delivering gifts as the villagers send each other presents to cheer themselves up. He makes sure to tell everyone to use calamine lotion on their itchy spots and to gargle. By the end of the day Pat is exhausted – and itchy! Poor Pat has caught chicken pox too. The children are all better the next day and decide to do something nice for Pat, as he has been so kind and helpful to all of them. The school choir sings a delighted Pat a special “get well soon” song.
