The gang goes on a long-awaited, older-kids-only camping trip to Cherry Creek, a site that is a short hike from their home. All goes well until nighttime, when even the slightest sounds of frogs croaking or owls hooting begin to feed their imaginations with images of monsters in the wilderness. As the noises grow and the weather turns sour, the kids find themselves less and less eager to stick it out through the night.
