A walk with a wow factor - Pen-y ghent is the smallest of the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, but by far it's most spectacular. Julia's walk takes us on the classic ascent of this towering fell, out of the ancient Dales town of Horton. From the start, this striking fell goads you, with all its grandeur, to climb its towering summit. Half way up, Julia takes in the spectacular sunken-cave of Hull Pot - England's largest natural hole which in wet weather has a stunning waterfall and she even discovers how elephants once roamed the Dales. As she reaches the dramatic summit, Julia spots the remaining two challenge peaks - Whernside and Ingleborough - clearly visible in the breathtaking, far-reaching views above the magnificent Dales.
