Michael and K.I.T.T. are called to Vista Beach, a small resort community, to investigate a string of burglaries. Marietta Mattheson, an old friend of Devon, is convinced the disturbance is caused by several car clubs who have been terrorizing the town with their drag racing. However, her niece, Cindy, denies this as her boyfriend is the leader of The Rebels car club. It seems they asked for suspicion naming themselves The Rebels, but Michael will just go ahead and clear their names anyway.
