Ash is sleeping peacefully until he is awoken by Brock and Misty with alarming news: there’s something wrong with Pikachu’s voice! Worried, Ash runs off with Pikachu in search of the nearest Pokémon Center, although it turns out to be too far for Pikachu. With no time to lose, Ash changes plans: he decides to take Pikachu to a nearby emergency room and manages to convince the doctor to check on Pikachu. The brief examination comes to a shocking conclusion: there was something lodged in Pikachu’s throat. Just then, a phone call comes in from Nurse Joy at the Pokémon Center: there’s been an accident, and many Pokémon are injured! Is there anything our heroes can do to help?
