A fierce storm blows the roof off Farmer McColl’s barn. Emily is sent to fetch some new timber but as the storm has caused a lot of damage to the rail tracks, Emily’s route is repeatedly blocked by workmen. Frustrated, Emily is very rude and impatient, telling Elizabeth to hurry up!
