The Hawker Hurricane is Britain's unsung hero of World War II. Less known than the legendary Spitfire, it was the Hurricane that claimed two-thirds of the victories in the Battle of Britain and later took the fight to Axis forces in the skies over Northern Africa and the islands of the Pacific.
