Description

Wheezy's bored, Fi has a fussy feline on her hands and the barn is overloaded with apples. Tractor Tom knows just the thing to fix the lot. Tom is very worried about Wheezy. The Combine Harvester has no work to do and is stuck in the barn feeling bored. Fi's worried about someone too. Purdey the cat has gone off her food and no matter what delicious treats Fi offers her she won't eat a thing. Meanwhile, it's apple picking time and the trees are full of fruit. Matt takes some to sell at the market and piles the rest into the barn on top of the sleeping Wheezy. Matt returns from the market with the bad news that they won't able to sell the rest of their crop because the market is overloaded with them this year. What will they do with the extra apples? Tom discovers that Wheezy has made a big mess in the barn - his blades have squashed up some apples and there's juice everywhere. But instead of being a disaster, it gives Tractor Tom a brainwave that solves three problems at once: a fun job for Wheezy, a way to use the mountain of apples and a delicious meal for Purdey. No wonder Tom's the apple of Fi's eye! / Tractor Tom makes a new friend - a little lamb who thinks he's her mummy. It's a busy day on Springhill farm. Fi is looking after the sheep and their new little lambs and Matt is loading Rev and Buzz with jars of honey and bags of flour. Buzz and Rev aren't thinking about work - they want to have a race to decide who is the fastest. When they zoom past Tractor Tom at high speed, the honey and flour are sent flying into the air, and all over Tom. Tom is covered in flour from top to bottom - he's completely white! But there's more trouble to follow for Tom, when a little lost lamb mistakes Tractor Tom for her mummy. Matt tries everything to convince the lamb that Tom is a tractor, not a sheep. But it's only when Tom rescues the lamb from the river, washing off the flour, that the lamb understands. There's a happy ending to this woolly tale but not for Buzz and Rev - they're in big trouble with Matt.
