Lex Luthor's ex-wife, Arianna Carlin (Guest star Emma Samms - The Colby's), hires a Lois Lane look-alike to discredit the reporter's image and uses subliminal messages to incite the citizens of Metropolis against Superman. Carlin blames both of them for Lex's death.
