Join Tractor Ted as he catches up with all the exciting jobs that need doing on a farm in summertime, one of the busiest seasons in the countryside. We see a combine hard at work, and the grain being collected and stored in a big barn. Back in the field, the straw is scooped up by a baler and we learn how it's used for the cows' bedding in wintertime. Another important summer job is sheep shearing and Tractor Ted explains how the fleeces make wool and why the sheep need to lose those woolly coats to stay cool and healthy. There's no shortage of music, and this film includes one of Ted's most popular songs, "I Am an Excavator", amongst others! As usual, there's plenty of interaction in the film, with Tractor Ted popping up on screen and narrating over the real-life footage. Children will enjoy singing along while learning about the seasons in the countryside.
