5 stars for this excellent series I love to rewatch many times.
Yes, episode 3 is the wrong episode & this happened in a previous series too: put up the wrong episode! But, as soon as I contacted Apple on my MacBook via My Account on the TV app My Purchases & Report A Problem With This Purchase telling them of the wrong episode they fixed it soon after.
I always buy each series as it come out because I rewatch the episodes many times as I love this TV Show. But, as the new series don’t come with subtitles until later, about 6 months to a year, I always watch, at least the first time, each new episode on BBC iPlayer with subtitles before rewatching my purchased iTunes episodes that don’t have the subtitles yet. Then, when the subtitles become available, later, I re download the while series again.
So, it took me some time to notice & contact Apple the last time. I noticed faster this time as I’m aware it can happen. I’ve just contacted Apple now & hopefully, now that they’ve aware of the problem, it’ll be rectified soon?
I’m not sure if Apple read these reviews as simply stating the problem here dosen’t seem to get any results?
This time Apple’s response isn’t satisfactory & I just asked for a refund because of it!
Apple said the episode is put up as the BBC gave it to them & told me to contact the BBC instead without telling me how to! They basically passed the fault to someone else & not doing anything about it themselves: telling me, in italics, to contact the BBC.
I will see if I get my refund & add another edit to this review? I will not repurchase until this is sorted out, if ever, & ALL episodes are correct!
Very poor customer response, this time, Apple!
Apple wanted me, in italics, to send a screen recording of the wrong episode being played: impossible, by the way, as a message popped up saying recording protected content is not possible each time I tried; used the video camera on my iPhone to record the episode playing on my iPad instead.
They say they will refund me if I want to.
I definitely do & will add further edits with an update on this.
Apple are dragging their heels & making me go through hoops to get this sorted & it’s VERY irritating!
