Having read the triology twice before watching this TV series, I was skeptical about the whole thing. After watching the first 10 minutes of Series 1, I was hooked. The cast are superb, the cinematography wonderful and each episode is well-paced. So far, I feel the Series 2 is matching up to its predecessor pretty well - still hooked. It's a great piece of fantasy entertainment/advetnure story telling, with some particle physics and theology thrown in for good measure. Very much enjoying it!
