Description

This series took my heart, put it in the blender and pressed start. Never before have I been affected by a show like this. I laughed. I sobbed. I laughed again. Anger, defiance but above all humanity surges through this show’s veins like no other. The script is perfection and the cast magnificent. It’s invidious to single out any one cast member but Olly Alexander is just superb. When he breaks the fourth wall in episode 2 it is a moment of pure televisual magic. It’s A Sin throbs with life. I believed in every single character from the outset. It’s no spoiler to say not all of them survive the narrative, but they’ll live with me forever. I doubt we shall see a better show than this in 2021. If ever. La! 🏳️🌈
