This was the best season of Gossip Girl I began watching this when I was younger and the first series just kept me so gripped and on the edge of my seat, it sort of lost its magic after this season so in my opinion this is a definite must have.

Gossip Girl Season 1 IS th BEST thing EVER to be on teli!
It's so witty, has more twists and turns and unexpected corners than an Italian mountain road!
LOVE Chuck Bass, even though he is such an arrogant pig in this season!
And i LOVE Blair, even though she's super rich you can kind of realte to her!
And I LOVE her headbands! Haahaa!
The fashion on this show is just heaven! Loooove it!

I started watching this after reading the books and have to say that it totally lives up to all excpectations! My fave is Pilot but the others are geat as well. The actors are great and Blake Livley, is AMAZING as Serena. A must watch!!!

I really enjoyed watching the 1st season of Gossip Girl, it is actually quite addictive from the start.. I have to say that it does end in a "weird way".. can anyone tell me when the second season is coming out on iTunes? its already out in the American iTunes Store... Why on earth are we always after the USA? we speak the same language.. what is there to change?

Having never watched Gossip Girl before I bought the pilot of iTunes to see if I'd like it. I thought it was ok from the pilot but after watching more of it... it just gets better! However, I bought the full DVD boxset from Amazon for around £16 - why pay the ridiculous amount of money that iTunes is charging when you dont even get the series in physical form? So much better to shop around - you'll get a much better deal!

You will certainly like this show! especially if you love the O.C. Is much like it but the story happens in New York city...with lot's of fashion, parties, romance and comedy! i'd certainly recommend it!!!

When i first wathced it i thought that the pilot was ok but not nothing special, but as the show continued i became addicted to it and couldnt wait for the next eppisode to come on, its definatley my favourite show, all the characters are great [especially Blair & Chuck] and they film near where i used to live in NY, so awesome

I love Gossip Girl! I never really been into watching TV Dramas/Soaps etc but I thoroughly enjoy watching this show every week!!!
However, it is really quite expensive when you compare it to, say, buying the DVD. It even seems buying it from the US iTunes is a LOT cheaper, after changing the currency it works out to around £18!
Sort it out iTunes, I really want to buy it, but not at this price!

I seriously can not believe that this show is on ITV2. This program is amazing and must be doing really well. Its high gloss and pure brilliance. I don't under stand why it is not on Channel 4. It seems a very channel 4 program!?

As a 37 gay man I think I am way tooooo old to be part of the demographic but ohmigod, I love this show. It's basically Beverly Hill 90210 moved to the Upper East Side and X years later!
All the characers are wonderful and having lived in NY for a couple of years I think I know some of them!
I can't wait for series two.

If you like the OC, The Hills, Laguna Beach or any of those rich kid dramas, you'll love this...Maybe even if you don't watch any of them, you'll love this :P It's so good! Every week there is a new surprise, shock or twist...and you can't forget the guys! Seriously, watch it!

Best American show on TV at the moment.
I have watched all episodes of series one via the internet and have to say it keeps getting better!
Season two should be amazing.

But the price is a bit off, you can get the whole season for £17.99 on HMV or Amazon.
Alaso, having trouble downloading some episodes, especially The Thin Line Between Chuck And Nate which just refuses to download.

Based on the amazingly addictive books by Cecily von Ziegesar, Josh Scwhartz puts his own spin on the characters of the new O.C. There are certainly differences from the book that left a lot of fans in America pissed off, and there can be no denying that if you love the books as much as I do, you will be disapointed.
However, if you haven't read the books (and why not?) and you like the OC, then you will absolutley love this. Dan Humphrey is basically a carbon copy of Seth Cohen. But who's saying thats a bad thing?
I can't help but think when I watch this, that its basically the OC goes east. And lets remember, the OC basically sucked in its third and fourth season. They killed off the lead female. So lets hope Josh doesn't make the same mistakes he did last time.
Chuck and Blair are hilarious. Serena is as fabulous as ever. However can she keep up the good girl act for long? And is she ever going to win back the love of her life? (And I'm not talking about Humphrey, either).
They've already began filming for the second season in America, and I won't give away too much but from what I've heard, the second season is said to stick more closer to the books, which is great! :D
Its enjoyable, fabulous and funny. Lets hope it stays that way.

Absolutly love Gossip Girl. It is so addictive. Watch this show but please don't buy it on i-tunes. It is incredibly overpriced. You can watch it free on itv catch up and it's available for thirty days after it's shown on TV. So watch the show just don't buy it here. Lower the cost i-tunes!

I Absolutley LOVE Gossip Girl, the author of the book (cecily von zeigesar) wrote one of my favourite books, "the it girl". I THINK gossip girl has used a bit of "the it girl" in the series, such as the name Jenny Humphrey...I thought the "gossip girl" series as a book looked boring, but if it's half as good as the show, i am proven WRONG...Mega time!
I RECCOMEND THIS FOR ANYONE WHO LOVES A GOOD DRAMA, AND LOVES STORYLINES THAT KEEP YOU HOOKED AND WANTNG TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.

Being a fan of the O.C. it is great to see a similar (and who cares if it's too) type of programme! The first episode looked very promising with some great music and likeable and hateable characters! Makings of something extremely good.

This 1st episode is extremly good, however, I do not understand why they have gone to all this trouble to put just 1, namly the 1st episode, onto itunes when actaully there are whole series of tv programmes that are a lot better than this that have yet to appear on itunes so what was the point of going to that lenth when they could put the whole series of a different programme onto here and then wait for the rest of these episodes to come out before they think about putting this one on.
However, this programme is exeptionally good even though there has only been the pilot so far!

OMG!!! i didn't think that Josh Schwartz could ever create something as amazing as the oc, but he has. i was so bummed that i had to wait for like a year for it to come to the uk but i'm soooo happy that its finally here. its the best new show at the moment, i'm am completly addicted even though i have only seen one episode. please make sure that all other episodes are available to download on itunes because i wanna put them all on my ipod so i can watch it everywhere. xoxox from the uk's gossip girl
