Great show. I love every episode so far. Best tv show ever. I wish people would stop complaining about the prices tho. It cost 2 pound for an episode!! Thats nothing! Stop complaing and be thankful Apple are bringing us quality show for good prices.

I love this show and want to watch it so badly but I simply can not afford to pay that amount of money for something I will only watch once. To be honest the prices on iTunes are a joke and need to be lowered! I mean it's not like apple are short of money! =D

In the process of buying series four the store interrupted the transaction and told me about its changes- i agreed to them and it took me back to the buy page, telling me to try again. I did, and I got two lots of it... I deleted one set of downloads but have I been charged for both?

The series of Lost itself is absolutely incredible, and the option to buy the entire series conveniently over iTunes is a step towards a future of easier TV viewing. However, I'd quite like to know why the episodes and the series itself cost so much in the UK, but so little in the USA. This seems a little bit biased, Apple!

Brilliant Season, every episode is epic, they are all action packed and no wasted time, couldn't stop watching.

Where do I begin with this spectacular Season? Not only have our castaways managed to escape the island, but now they must return! The whole show itself is intellectually challenging, and questions science over faith. I am an avid fan, and have been since Season One. I personally think Season Four is the best so far, but was to short! If I have to criticize an episode of Season Four, it would be "The Constant". I do not agree with Desmond travelling from 1996 - 2004 back & fourth, finding a constant in order to survive. Why? Because in Season Three "Catch-22" Desmond believed that Pennie had come to rescue him and the 815ers. But how could she when he told her back in 1996 to stay by the phone on December 24th 2004? Anyway, over all the Producers have again made a wonderful viewing experience, and I hope it continues. I await the start of Season 5 on Jan 21st 2009.

The tv show is great, characters are amazing and the plot keeps you hooked. Prices are ridiculous; no wonder people illegally download music and tv episodes. 79p for a 3 minute song burns a hole in people's pockets and then you charge £1.89 for a tv episode when people in America get them for half the price. You're not doing yourself any favours. Surely you have noticed that the majority of the reviews on the itunes store are about the ridiculous costs and not the actual tv show. Something needs to be done. And your films, well, why should people pay £15+ for a film when they can buy the DVD for less than a tenner. Put the customers first.

I used to say 'What on earth are they gonna think of next?'.

Now i say 'I can't wait to see what they've thought of next'.

Great show!! I'm a huge fan but Oh my god! They are robbing us blind on i-tunes especially in the uk!! No wonder everyone is turning to pirate downloads!! Come guys sort it out!!

This episode is missing the last couple of minutes. All the others are 43 mins long while this one is 41 mins. Really annoying when you get to the end and it doesn't finish.

How many "others" of you are "lost" for the reasons "why" itunes should feel so inclined to rip off the british public.

I am very annoyed and beginning to feel as though I am having my intelligence mocked by Apple and it's industry associates.

I downloaded the Ji Yeon espisode last night and started to watch it but right at the end it is cut short- the full espisode is not there. Looking the length of time of the espisode on iTunes it states 41:03 mins. This matches the length that I downloaded so what has happened?? I am not happy that I've paid for an incomplete episode!!!

I want to see the end and it doesn't instill much confidence in me down loading anymore episodes.

How can you say you are being ripped off? a music track is all of a few megabytes all for 79p, these episodes are 100+ times that! and for £1.89.

I have really enjoyed watching Lost 4 every week but I cannot do so at the moment.I have been trying to download episods 15 going onwards but the option seems not to be available. Can someone tell me what I can do to get the remaing episodes on series 4. Please help.

The way i have been treated i feel is completely wrong. I tried to download the episode and itunes would only crash and not save anything, and they still charged me!

The show itself is great but these prices are really high, I might as well wait for the DVD atleast with the DVD's I get special features and much more. I recommend buying this if you don't have SKY TV or you are to impatient to buy the DVD's but I have SKY+ so i wont be buying this. I don't know what the quality is like but seeing as its on the Itunes store I imagine it's great. Loosen the purse strings Apple and lower these prices!

I came late to this series but now I am hooked. I admit it and I'm fine with it. However, the per-episode price, echoing others, really is a ripoff. We travel to the USA two or three times a year. At least the download per-issue is about £1, given the exchange rate. But £1.89? Silly. I wish someone would explain WHY we are continually taken advantage of in the UK. I did notice that Series 4 will be available here before there (October vs December, if I read correctly) so at least there's that. But still, it's the same with ALL shows. We connect in the US and watch some of our faves for free; here we pay. And pay and pay and pay. What IS the logical explanation? I'd really like to hear one, iTunes or whoever is reponsible for the discrepancy.

I've just bought the first episode of season four and wow, i'm definately getting the rest. Be sure to watch it in the pitch black dark with headphones though to ensure a great atmosphere, it will make you jump like nothing else!!!

I'm not laying the blame totally at iTunes door, it is the entire british public that accept all goods at twice the price one can get it from over the pond. Anyway best show ever created, the only one I am willing to pay this kind of money for. The lesson though is sky+.

As much as Im not liking the £1.89 PER episode charge, I do like the fact I can get Lost from iTunes. Sometimes I miss an episode or cant get to see it online so I come here to get it instead, one thing that does annoy me though is the fact you cant watch it on your PC (big screen) so my iPhone screen will have to do for now. Come on Apple, allow viewing on peoples computers.

When I pay £22 to 'BUY ALL EPISODES' of Lost Season 4, I don't expect to only get half the series, i expect ALL episodes. I might as well have bought the DVD.

Why is everyone moaning about the price of tv episodes? You buy 3 minutes of music for 79p but somehow 45 minutes of tv for £1.89 is the end of the world?! The average episode of Lost costs about $1 million dollars, so £1.89 is a pittance. Keep your reviews for opinions of the show and we can decide for ourselves whether or not we want to pay £1.89 for it.

STILL cannot download this episode. Emailing itunes has not helped, they don't seem to understand that the probelm is with the file, not my mac. ITUNES SORT IT OUT.

All the episodes are added in time and I don't have to wait until it will be released on optical media. Also all the episodes are automatically copied to my Apple TV and iPhone. I can enjoy lost on the go and on big screen. Very convenient!!!!!!!!!

I thought the pricing was OTT from the beginning, but charging us twice to watch the last feature-length episode (pt 2 & 3) is disgraceful. The show itself is great but I won't be downloading series 5 when it arrives, I would rather wait for the DVDs.

Great series. Good that apple has this in their catalogue. HOWEVER, give us a break, why is it you can only buy episodes individually and even worse still why are we paying more than most other countries? Answers on a postcode…….

Best series of the show. Without a doubt. I know alot of reviews here reflect the itunes prices of TV shows and I do think something should change in the future but hell, for TV dynamite like this you kinda forget about it. Stunning storytelling from JJ; the only bad thing is there're only two series left...

It really would make sense to have the obligatory "Season Pass" from the outset, especially when it's already available to purchase from iTunes U.S... Having various pricing structures set by apple across different territories have to be more balanced and fair toward the consumer in the future (This is an area I feel Apple have to review again). The only incentive at the moment to purchase these premium rate episodes of Lost is the fact that it is a great T.V show...

Don't get me wrong I am loving this series and was quite willing to wait to download the episodes 9 and 10 once they had been aired following the writers strike. I know they have been aired on sky now so where are they on itunes. I mean we in the UK are paying a premium for this series, the question is why when I know that these episodes are available from illegitimate web sources right now and should be available for those of us who prefer to pay for our media services legally. Please does anyone know when the episodes will be available on itunes given that episode 9 was aired around the 23rd April and we are now into may. xx

I've read a few reviews saying 4x09 should be on iTunes by now, and I think it'll be on tomorrow.

Basically after the mid-season hiatus, Sky changed the schedules so now they show the episode a whole 10 days after it's been on ABC in America - 4x09 is showing on Sky 1 tonight (4th May), so if iTunes add the episode after it has aired on UK television, it 'should' be on tomorrow (5th May), and in future, the Monday after it's on Sky.

Hope this clears the situation up for some people.

Seriously, I'm willing to pay for TV shows provided I can buy them within a reasonable time of their original broadcast - a few days isn't perfect, but it's acceptable. I've had this episode off a torrent for almost a week… I had thought that iTunes was going to mean I wouldn't have to go hunting for downloads from the wilderness of the internet, but it seems not. I guess I won't be wasting my precious time coming back here any time soon for future Lost episodes.

Firstly I-Tunes except us to pay for every episode one by one (when the american's get it at a much cheaper price) that to me personally is unfair and racist, Lost is american so i agree that they should watch it on tv first, that dont bother me. But when I-Tunes charge the British more an then don't upload the new episodes when the amrican's already have it btw, then i feel that after being a loyal customer to Apple, I feel that they are giving the american's everything that they can give and just ignoring everyone else, I feel that this issue needs to be adressed by Apple and hopefully sorted, because if not then eventually Apple are going to lose all their paying British customers. Also I'm tired of I-Tunes not listening to any comment that we make, I disagree with the way that I-Tunes handle complaints. I hope that if you feel discriminated by I-Tunes then you will agree to this statement and maybe if enough people agree we can make I-Tunes listen (for once).

I wish everyone would use their brains for a minute regarding season 4 of Lost. It's obvious that it's all cut up because of the Writer's Strike, hence no full price because initally even they didn't know when it would all start again!

The reason there is nothing to download is because of the season breaks that the yanks are having to do because of the writers strike. A friend said that on sky they said it would be back late spring. Nice of itunes to keep us informed though!

Lost is the greatest TV ever to show on TV. It has millions of fans all over the world and it keeps its audience in suspence in nearly every episode. Since the pilot, i have been hooked, like many other people. And i have even introduced it to most of my family, (which is a big mistake because one of my cousins never shuts up while watchin it). Which is another reason why i am glad it is on iTunes, i can watch it by myself and take it wherever i go.

It has a range of great characters and story lines that make you want to watch the episodes over and over again and not get bored. Lost is one of them programmes that is full of surprises and twist that keeps the viewer guessing what will happen next.

Season 1 is when we meet the survivors that crash on the island and we find out that the island is not your typical island. Season 2 is when we finally meet "the others" and the tail end survuors. Season 3 is when everything is starting to come together, but still plenty of questions need answering. And now, season 4 is giving us the answers to some of our questions, but it also gives us more questions. Season 4 is shaping up to be a brilliant season.

It is good of iTunes that we get the episodes the next day after they are aired. But we should get the option to have a season pass like the Americans. Why do the americans get everything? It would be nice to have them to give us the option of a season pass, since Lost is so full of surprises, and it saves us having to watch the seasons over again. (Although who is complaining, i am in the middle of watching season 1 again!). Lost will finish in its 6th season, 2010. Season 5 and 6 will a total of 35 episodes. And the writers said the ending will be "highly anticipated and shocking finale". We will have to wait and see!

A let down is that Lost Season 4 is only going to be 13 episodes long. This is due to the writers strike that has ruined many TV shows this year. Bloody americans! If you are feeling confused about any of the episodes of Lost there is a website that explains everything about the episode. Lostpedia, google it and you will find some answers.

Lost is definitley 10/10.

How can apple expect people to pay so much for each episode??? It works out cheaper to get sky. Come on apple, putting TV progs on iTunes coud change the way we watch tv forever but not if you keep ripping us off.

Customers may not be aware, but there are only EIGHT episodes of Lost this season. This is due to the Writers' Strike in the USA which brought TV and film production to a standstill. That's probably why Apple are not offering the option to buy the whole of Season 4 - because there are so few episodes available, and it is not yet clear whether the remaining episodes of Season 4 will be made now and shown in the next few months, or whether they will simply be added on to the beginning of Season 5 and shown next year. So in this case, it isn't really Apple's fault that we can't buy the whole season in one go.

What's the big idea?! I bought last week's episode fine, no problem. I come to buy episode 2, and it tells me "No longer available" ?! But that it "may be available elsewhere in the store." What the hell does that mean? And why I can't I buy the damn episode?!

The end of the last season certainly built anticipation for more, and I'm so pleased to say that the start of this season more than meets this demand. Great pace, some superb new mind-twisting plot developments and some truly moving moments from Jorge Garcia. Even a moment of out of character affection from, surely the series' greatest character, Sawyer. As a non-sky user, to have the opportunity to keep up with the joneses and join in the discussion without having to wait until the DVD at the end of the year, is excellent at any price. Can't wait for number 2.

First episode of series lives up to the expectation of Season 3 finale - enjoy.

Plus on the subject of season passes, remember there's only going to be at most 16 episodes of this season, but with the writer's strike only just cooling off more like 12-13 (they've made 8 or 9 so far). So actually you don't want to pay £32.99 for less episodes!! Of course if iTunes can still come up with a discount for the whole season I'll be doing that but until then, I think £1.89 is your lot...

I've noticed some people would be willing to pay the 32.99 (the same as the other seasons) now, instead of buying all the episodes seperately. that wouldn't be a bad idea, apart from the fac that there will not be as many episodes this season! I think they are going to air either 8 or 12 episodes for this season only.. Sod paying 32.99 for that^^

The usual mix of Mr J Js' madness. Never leaving enough to work out but enough to get us hooked once more. I tunes needs to look at THE BIG PICTURE. Make friend with your customers. Not enemies. Full purchase of the season MUST be offered at a discounted rate. £1.89 per episode for them all is sick. Wake up, or lose out to the pirates. Your choice. And don't say we didn't warn you.

Well you know how it goes! As always a brilliant series which keeps you hooked. I would, however, say that if you have not seen any previous episodes don't expect to understand series 4 until you have watched the previous 3... It's a pity iTunes don't allow you (a) to pay for the whole series at a discounted rate in advance (b) reduce the cost - nearly £2 an episode is just so expensive compared to the box set DVDs when they are launched

I love LOST and the 4th season premiere didn't disappoint BUT I won't be buying it from iTunes unless there's some sort of episode pre-order thing (like the US store's season passes). Really looking forwards to Series 4, I'm fortunate to have Sky Tv so I can watch it on TV, but I would like to buy it to watch too, however I'm not going to do so unless there's a Season pass option like there usually is. To echo the previous reviewers, it seems very low of Apple to not give us the option of paying a flat rate for the entire season in advance. Where have the corporate ethics you were praised for in the past disappeared to, Apple?

I stopped watching LOST once it went to Sky, as I don't have it. However I bought the episode of Season 4 yesterday and am now buying the whole of Season 3. Quality is great, however come on iTunes - lower the price, far too expensive. Also - SEASON PASS ??

the american website offers free downloads - a recap on the last series -they get 3 free downloads in total. also the price difference is too much. £1.89 is way too expensive - ($1.99 in states) especially as you dont own the rights to copy it onto a dvd. i didn't feel ripped off by 79p for a music track but i do by this.

Okay, so it's not free like it was on channel 4, but no longer do we have to put up with annoying adverts, and you can rewatch episodes back whenever you wish...Even on your iPod or iPhone.

Hopefully after a year in waiting we can finally get some answers, a great show with all the drama of a movie.

Great start to the new season, I have a feeling im going to be gripped to this season as I was with the rest. Good to see Apple releasing the episodes at the same rate as sky, sigh of relief to some of those fans without sky one!

The good news is buying new season immediately rather then being queued behind SKY. The bad News is being unable to buy whole season in advance and having to buy expensive individual episodes instead.

Please can we have the option to buy all the episodes now at the same price as season 1,2,3 and then have them downlaoded when they are released.
