This series is absolutely amazing: The tension is so compelling and eerie; leaving you on the edge of your seat.

The serial killer in this is just really hot (a sentence I never thought I'd write). Certain scenes in this make me see why he was cast as Christian Grey. I'm not normally a fan of crime dramas, but he was some serious eye candy!

quite boring actually; there are long periods of silence from the characters which adds to my irritation, in addition to the dramatic use of sounds its actually a depressing overture. the characters in my opinion are neither likeable or otherwise they are simply there to account for the inevitable conclusion that this is a played out story that is a shadow of far more successful american efforts.

a disappointing series

I'm only a few episodes in on the first series but so far I can say this is pretty good. Reminds me of Luther a little but with more of a central recurring theme. Gillian Anderson plays a relatively straightforward character; highly competent, workaholic detective, but she plays it well. So far, Jamie Dornan's portrayal as a functioning but secretly pathological serial killer can be a bit lacklustre at times but passable. Overall, the storyline makes up for any other shortcomings. It is definitely worth a watch.

Amazing Ms. Anderson and Mr.Durnan at their best. Worth a watch a follow up with season 2.

Watching series 1 again as just watched first episode of series 2 and need to remind myself of certain story lines and characters. Really enjoyed first series and hope the second is just as good.

I catched this on TV when it was first out. Really creepy but very good. Definitely recommend!

Well, what do you say when you have a brilliant show like this and a well acted cast with commitment to making the best show possible. This show breaks the mould with a dominant female who’s life if opposite and parallel to the evil person she seeks for the murders that have taken place. Anderson is a power house. Frankly i’m tired of all these wannabe cop shows but this really is different and addictive. Sadly we only have five episodes. The end was clever and although some didn’t get it,it was a clever if not unfulfilling end to a great series. I say tot he producers Don’t pander to cliche and continue to break convention.WELDONE. Top marks!!!

Superb series. A must for anyone who loves great TV drama. Gripping from start to finish

I enjoy good crime thrillers which are not oh so predictable (which can be annoying to one's family when revealing who did it. This series has a good pace with the right amount of intrigue and unexpected turns and twists to retain your interest. Would definitely watch the next series.

I have paid for and downloaded the entire series of The Run, but episode three is missing. I note that I am not the only one in this predicament. The series is unwatchable without it, so please supply me with the 'lost' episode or give me my money back

Brilliant and original. So much better than Broadchurch.

I think the series started well and promised much but seemed to fade at the end and die like a damp squib by episode 5. Gillian Anderson's character, in my opinion, was superfluous to the story and it appeared as though the character was added purely from a pc point so the series had a "strong" woman in charge of the investigation. As a consequence the story seemed to flit from the killer to her without developing the depth to either's character. I feel that it was a lost opportunity on both parts.

The series is absolutely fantastic BUT…… Despite purchasing a series pass I've only got 3 episodes available or download - tonight (10th June 2013) is episode 5 on live tv!! Not a happy bunny :(

Best thing ever

Fabulous series, but what's with the SD version? I purchased it when there were 2 episodes - now that there are 3, I am not getting an auto download, even though it says I've purchased the series. Am I expected to purchase the last 3 episodes as they appear? You can do better, iTunes!

Stylistically it's a mess but far more concerning is that its just thoroughly degrading to women. Zero nuance, zero style and nightmare in terms of the depiction of women it presents.
