Found this on my TV on Netflix for nothing (the whole season 5) after downloading half a season, teach me to read reviews before I pay for anything

nowhere does it state that is only half of season 5. how on earth can they do this?

Having discovered the 'Deluxe' box set of all five seasons ended half way through the final season, imagine my horror on buying this rip off only to discover I have been ripped off again! The season clearly listed all 16 episodes before I made the purchasing decision but there seems to be no way to download the last eight episodes. Apple needs to be ashamed - no wonder it is losing customers and market share.

Only the first 8 episodes. Not the full series. £14.99. ITunes are worse than street robbers.

No clear explanation before purchase. Do yourself a favour and AVOID.

This is not a review of the series itself but a comment on the misleading description of what I was buying. Having purchased all previous 4 seasons through iTunes at £17.99 I went ahead and bought season 5 (despite the fact that I do not want the extras provided). I was disappointed in the extreme to realise that it was only episodes 1-8. It is absolutely not clear that this is the case when purchasing and I am very disappointed.

Bought this expecting season 5 - as advertised. Only 8 episodes? Not cool itunes, not cool at all.

Why don’t you Guys play fair!? Marketing this as ’Season 5’ should mean Season 5, NOT half of season 5!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m a big iTunes fan but about this - NOT HAPPY!!

Absolute morons thinking they were buying the whole of season 5 when right next to it, is another download saying final season lol.

And I hate seeing my favourite show of all time get given 1 star cos idiots don't read properly.

Fair enough iTunes charge quite a bit for this but that's not the shows fault.

This show is awesome and the first part to the final season does not disappoint. Look out for episode 5: Dead Freight it's amazing.

Buy this if you love the show as much as I do, who cares how much it cost, it costs a lot more in US and Canada, so stop winging and enjoy the show

Just bought this but should have read the reviews first. Not only is it only 8 episodes, only 25 secs of each episode downloaded so I have now paid for nothing and who can I speak to? Noone as usual. Netflix is looking more attractive every day

Love the show but I’m really floored by iTunes. I’ve joined the list of people who bought Season 5 thinking they were buying "Season 5”, not “the first half of Season 5”. And Deluxe Edition is pretty much accepted language for “more than the basic product”, additional content etc.

Thing is, I was already hooked when I bought this, I didn’t check the reviews. Here’s hoping someone else can be saved the same fate. Heading to “Report a Problem” now.

Enjoying it although having to fight throught the usual Sony/Masonic symbolism. It would be much better without all that crap, but hey apart from that, enjoying the ideas here especially the emphasis on the damage that deceit and lies can wreak and the temptation of power.

This is not all last series only the first 8 episodes. This was the first and last time I'm going to use itunes. "You don't make the same mistake twice" !!!

THIS IS NOT THE WHOLE SERIES, only the first 8 episodes, which I discovered when I got to the "end". This useful fact is not mentioned anywhere in the descriptions. £17.99 is already over-priced and as usual, there is no option apart from HD with a truckload of rubbish extras that I don't want. A complete rip off and a disgrace from iTunes.

Bought this expecting all of S5, only to discover it's the first eight episodes. Since then Apple is refunding fans of TV show Breaking Bad after a mix-up over the number of episodes in its final season.

The confusion meant many people effectively paid twice for the final 16 episodes of the hugely popular show.

This was because Apple charged people who bought a "season pass" twice - once for each eight-show chunk as they were billed as separate seasons.

Apple has sent out emails giving people an iTunes voucher for the extra cash they spent. Not received a voucher yet?

Breaking Bad's fifth season was split into two halves by cable channel AMC with each eight-episode section being shown a year apart. The second half of this season, which sees the show reach a conclusion, was first broadcast and made available online on 11 August.

The split caused problems on iTunes where many people had paid to see the closing series expecting that this would include all 16 episodes.

When Apple charged people again for the second eight episodes, called The Final Season, many complained and one outraged fan took legal action over the extra charge.

Now Apple has refunded the extra $22.99 (£14.40) levied on those people who were charged extra to watch The Final Season. Those who bought a season pass for the fifth season will now be able to watch all 16 episodes.
