Do not waste your time - a terrible follow on to what was once a great series. Just stop watching after series 2....

This series has blown me away. The writers have been brave enough to avoid repeating the same old formula and took a risk to try something new. This has a slower pace and goes into more depth with the characters with fantastically dramatic and tense results. The show assumes it's audience has matured along side it and is so far shaping up to be the best season yet.

Now we were originally sold the idea of a political thriller but the writers are not up to the task.It is now just a boring soap about anxiety and mental state where whining takes the central theme.Teenage love interest just doesnt suit the genre and better left to popromance. That national security is left in the hands of any of these characters is just asking to suspend belief a big way too far.Oh I guess there is a hidden agenda and its going to pop up at the end of each episode,as in the last available download.Well it just doesnt work ,if you want to go fishing show your bait in the journey.

Great Show - Slow Season Pass

I love the show and recommend watching but the delay in receiving episodes is annoying. I was expecting that having paid for a season pass I would receive the new episodes at least as soon as they are shown on Channel 4 in the UK if not before as they would have already been shown in the US. Therefore I will be very cautious about buying season passes in future as I don’t see a particular benefit over watching or recording off terrestrial TV. If I pay a premium I expect a premium service!

I agree with the plethora of negative comments about the late publication of episodes via the Season Pass. Why do iTunes not publish guaranteed publication dates of episodes in a season pass? Even if they do suit everyone, they would allow viewers to make a more informed choice before parting with the fee. Not acceptable...

Where is episode 4?

Appallingly unreliable service - I've been told that they aim for putting these up within 24 hours of airing, but it's well over that now for EP4. Interestingly the same has happened for another of my season passes broadcast on Sunday night so maybe they have a technical issue?

I paid £20 and, even 24 hours after it aired on UK tv I can't get episode 4 on iTunes. That's 8 days after US airing. I won't be buying season passes again and would recommend others not to.

This is something I have never done - write a review. It will be brief as I believe there is little to say. 1) iTunes has definitely failed to meet the standards i would have expected from Apple. 2) The 3rd season is clearly running out of a story. Disappointed!

I bought a season pass with iTunes before and often had to wait 2 weeks after it had aired on tv before they bothered to upload it. Dire service.

Enjoyed the first 2 seasons but so far I can't say that I have enjoyed the first 3 episodes. Hope it gets better, it feels like they have run out of ideas....

Started out with interesting ideas and twists... and by series 3 clearly ran out of ideas and falling back on tired cliches and stereotypes.

Episode 3 has got to be one of the worst pieces of TV drama ever screened. Depressing, self indulgent and meaningless - puerile rubbish. They have simply run out of ideas.

Disappointing

Just want to agree with all the comments below and would like a refund from Apple.
Worse still for them, this was the first time I tried a season pass and based on this impression it will be the last if they don't sort it out in the next few days.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Being away from home I thought buying a season pass for Homeland Series 3 would be an excellent idea. Its turned out to be a nightmare! Not only is there a week delay in the actual TV broadcast and when iTunes broadcasts it but there have been problems with even getting the episodes to download onto my account. This is the first and last time I buy a series pass or any other tv series from Apple! Inconsistent standards and bad customer service: seems to be Apples new motto!

Don't buy this pass!!

Great, so you buy a season pass on the premise that the episodes get issued as soon as they air in the US. Episode 1, great came through promptly but what is going on with Episode 2 ???

For anyone who has never bought an iTunes series pass and is thinking about it ......DON'T. The service is completely unreliable. With a few exceptions where episodes are uploaded promptly (Eg Breaking Bad), the normal situation is waiting till after the episode has been screened on local cable TV! and never an explanation.
I'll be downloading this episode by episode, always assuming I can't find it elsewhere first.

About to sign up..

I would be signing up to this series right now if it wasn't for one small issue.
I dont trust you iTunes. Having seen your consistent, appalling customer service when it comes to season passes I would rather wait for the entire series to be released.
I can't think of a more damning opinion of a company, I don't trust you..

I see you put up the premiere and then took it down again. Why not upload these the day after the US? Waiting a week is far too long in today's globally social world, and Channel 4 is much too excited about Marvel's Agents of SHIELD to even bother building up hype for this show, so screw 'em and give us the episodes the day after US broadcast - just like you do for the Australian iTunes users. Encourage legitimate viewing: put up the episodes in a timely manner.
