£30.99 is far too much for TV series. Something around the £19.99 mark and I would consider it, but at £30+ it's really a non-starter.

Was going to download the whole series to introduce the Mrs to Lost, but not at this price!

We all know LOST is amazing, that not in question. I brought this 2 weeks ago in HD for ***£9.99*** on UK iTunes. When I came back to buy the rest I realised they've put them all up to ***£29.99***. What an absolute outrage!!! I also did some looking around and realise that a great deal of other things have been doubled or tripled in price in the weeks leading up to Christmas. I suggest you all do what I'm doing boycotting buying TV shows and movies on iTunes until at least a month after Christmas, you're all be shocked to see how the prices go down!!!!

why is series one 15 pounds and the others 25 or more i would gladly pay 15 for all of them but not 25 come apple one price for all

In one folder thing, iTunes is giving away Parts 1 and 2 of the Pilot for free, so head over there right now!

This is a great show, i know the price isnt modest but think about it this way, theres atleast 30gb of downloads there (i know it says but ive forgotten!) for £30, think how much it would cost to download the same amount of music, im guessing alot more. Plus you get sound AND picture! And very easy to access.

Lost is fantastic, nobody disputes that, so all I will say about Series 1 is that £19.99 to download the whole series is brilliant value. Period. So many people whinge about Apple and iTunes, probably the same ones who download dodgy version from dodgy websites. Stop Whingeing at Apple, they've just sold one billion downloads so they've got their fans! If you don't like what they sell, don't buy it, get a life, and go elsewhere.

The TV series LOST its an amazing drama and well written. I give it five stars because it keeps you on the edge throughtout

...I don't see why people are complaining about the price. This is - to my knowledge - the only place that you can buy early episodes of Lost in HD. Seasons 3 and 4 are on Blu-ray in USA and Season 4 is on Blu-ray in UK. But come on, I'm jumping for joy to see seasons 1 and 2 in 720p, as I have only ever seen them in Standard Def.

A fantastic TV series and now at just shy of 80 pence an episode, when you buy the whole series, a brilliant opportunity to get the back catalogue onto the iPod. Thanks iTunes!!! Role on Season 5.

This is a great series, and they are only getting it cheaper by like $7 which is nothing, have you seen the prices in most high street shops (excluding sales) they are £40

I think Lost is a good series, but when you see that Apple are charging £33 for the 1st series its outrageous!

However, on Amazon, you can get it for £17.99.

There is no other television programme that can match LOST in any concept: The writing, the plot, the score, everything in it is so particularly composed.

and how even to this day i can re-watch season 1 episodes and curse myself 'i wish i thought of that.'

I have purchased the DVDs and the iTunes' files, and it's a shame to see people complaining about cost.

Everyone involved in the creation of this show are so obviously passionate about every aspect integrated.

I praise them all and implore any negative critic to best their genious and pawn it for twenty quid.

I can buy all three seasons for £60 on DVD and transfer them to my iphone. Why pay £33 for one season Far too expensive!!!!

I have not seen any of this series and would have loved to download it but the itunes stores is just too expensive. I refuse to pay their prices and so will wait until they see sense and stop ripping off the uk, lower your prices apple and then maybe you may get more business!!!

Id just like to say this is an excellent product but i would like to also echo the setiments of some of the other itunes store users. This product is so outrageously over priced im suprised any one in the UK is foolish enough to buy it, it costs almost half as much to download if your in america and can be bought on DVD from £15-£20. Lost Season 1 is the second best Lost series in my opinion (second only to Lost Season 2) as it provides most of the questions which still haven't been answered in Lost Season 4 and all on the comfort of the tiny iPod. Definitely well worth the purchase, BUY IT NOW!

Amazingly, I have only seen a few episodes of Lost and would really like to see them all, but 32.99 for a season, you can get the dvd's for £24.99. I dont really want to buy anymore DVD boxsets as I believe DLC is the future but Apple are seriouly ripping UK customers off with their prices. And On the subject of Being ripped off, The BBC offering content for sale when We have effectively already paid for it via the License fee Is Frankly insulting.

I Love Apple, and have been a Mac user for Years, but They are charging far more in Europe than in the US, and this will put me off buying any TV content from iTunes.

This is the start of it all. When i first saw this advertised on channel 4 i thought it would be aload of rubbish. I mean how interesting is a series about a plane crash, so i didn't bother with it. Then one day my auntie said to me, "have you seen this new series on TV it is brilliant", she knows what i like and she advised me to try it. After that i was in Tesco and i saw Lost Season 1 part 1, So i dicided to buy it, i thought i might as well try it and if i don't like it then i will bring it back. So i watched the first episode and i was amazed and surprised at how great it was, so i carried on with the other episodes. That was a Monday, by Tuesday i was back in Tesco buying Season 1 part 2 after watching it all in the one day. (i think i was up til about 4am and i had a day off college due to lack of sleep, LOL). And by Wednesday i was hooked. I was eager to see what else would happen. Believe me if you have never bothered to watch it, buy the first episode or borrow it of a friend. It is brilliant and i highly recommend it. 100/10.

32 pound in the UK to buy this off Itunes, but the US shop can buy it for 35 dollars which is the equivilant of 18 pound! Stop ripping the UK off Apple.

Lost started back in september 2004 and it was a cool new show and everyone thought it was the best drama they had scene in years. in my personal opinion i think that having such a big cast means alot more variety however it also means alot too keep up with. throughout the season we get an in depth look at the characters past due to flashbacks i think these are useful for the show to get to know a bit more about the characters however they spend too much time on them and instead of giving them to us in little bulks we could spend at least 1/2 an episode on them.

I think the first season of lost is probably one of the best out of the three that have been fully aired (excluding season 4) but with all of the good storylines in this season is there enough to carry on until season 6.

Hi! lost is well worth watching and even though its quite expensive i think it is definatley worth it. ive watched all 3 seasons so far and am so excited about the 4th season!!! =). Don't get put off by how small the screen is and stuff like that, because when youre watching it you just get so involved!!! RECOMENDED

I missed it when it was on TV so ill have to get the DVD set. It would be good if itunes could put the simpsons and heroes on here as well.

I have only just become a fan of lost. I thought that since I received an iPod for Christmas and had a long car journey ahead of me, it was a perfect time to finally give it a chance. AMAZING!! What can I say?! I love lost, and haven't been able to put my iPod down! Although it is on a tiny screen, because you get so involved in the story and the characters you forget how small the screen is!

I have never seen Lost and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I downloaded the first episode and was gripped by the storyline but not enough to want to buy the series. I can't help feeling that after the first couple of episodes it will just end up in lots of Americans shouting at each other like every other disaster movie/series ever made. I may be wrong and I may still change my mind but for now I think I wil hold off.

this episode shows how lost isnt just the usual rubbish like many american dramas on tv. this shows that lost has got strong characters and can really make the viewer believe in them. the last scene is a classic lost moment!

Lost Season 1, although a little pricey, is well worth the money. I, unlike most people, had “heard of” Lost, but I had never even seen an episode. I downloaded the pilot, and after watching that, I was hooked. The entire season has been great to watch, and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Again, the only problem I have is the price, but still, it’s a sound investment for anyone who loves action. Another success from Apple. I'm giving it 5 stars. It's so good, you can't take a star away just because of the price!

The show is fantastic, great telly and we finally get to download TV episodes in the UK, BUT what a dissapointment!

After downloading 3 episodes I wanted to see the whole series, but the only way I can do that is to buy the 3 episodes I bought all over again.

I also think TV programmes on iTunes represents poor value for money when you can get the series for the same price from Amazon (with which you get DVD extras).

Come on Apple, give us better value for money!

Lost is one of the most over-rated and hyped TV series going around at the moment, and what makes it worse is that iTunes is fleasing the shows fans from their wages just because they want to download the series from the online store instead of buying it from the shops. People stop being lazy and you will get better value for money buying it from the shops.

despite the price and despite the amount of memory it takes to download a season / all seasons... it is definitly worth it. it plays really well on iPod (with video). the playback quality is just like playing a DVD on your mac / PC. And its just plain nice to be able to walk / travel around with 3 seasons of what is perhaps one of the best TV shows in your back pocket to watch... whenever. i'm glad iTunes has finally put TV shows on the store, lets hope movies follow suit shortly...

It's good to see that Itunes have finaly getten t.v show on now, I downloaded part 1 ot the premiere of lost and enjoyed it, now all I have to wait for the Stargate Atlantis to come to ITines, hopefulley series 3 and 4 and I would love to see Battlestar Galactica: Season 3 on this as well. I love LOST and have season 1 and 2 on DVD. Season 3 is already on my Christmas list! I have watched season 1 and 2 about 4 times since i got them in January. It was one of the best purchases I made this year! If you only want to watch a few episodes then download from here, even though it will take a million years, but it you want to watch the whole of the season you can find the boxset cheaper than this and you have all the bonus features to watch too!
