John, I wanted you to know that you are doing an AMAZING job with what you are doing! I am a 16 year old boy, and I saw you at the last Winter Jam in Indiana because I love your music, and I loved what you preached! And when I saw that you had a podcast, I got really excited, and it did not disappoint! I think that all Christians should listen to this podcast! I am also thinking about getting your book sometime!

Never knew I would enjoy the company of hard rockers so much! John Cooper has a gift for communication beyond his music (which is fortunate for those of us not cool enough to rock out). This podcast is unapologetically Bible-believing, speaking, and living, and is enjoyed by young and old alike.

Coopers Stuff is a must listen to. He brings the latest news to you through a biblical worldview, with a wee bit of sarcasm. 😉. He discusses topics in a way that anyone can understand. Keep up the great work!

I’ve listened to Skillet for as long as I can remember and I had no clue this podcast was here till my sister sent me a link for it!

I recommend this to anyone! It’s easy to listen to while working, cleaning or just hanging out.

It’s very informative, and I’m learning about a lot of things I had no idea that was happening currently.

He’s funny, optimistic, has a great beard (like my hubby), and he’s straightforward and doesn’t sugar coat anything.

Raw truth is rough, but that’s ok. I’m not saying I agree with everything John says, ( but who agrees with everything someone says?)but he loves the Word and cites Scripture often, which is lacking in many modern “Christian” podcasts. Romans 1:16 is difficult, but relevant. Don’t be ashamed of the gospel, even if it’s not popular.

This podcast actively makes listeners less intelligent and less capable of dealing with reality. If you love straw man arguments and reasoning with no data behind it, you’ll love it.

I’ve loved listening to your perspective. It puts all the things I’m thinking are going crazy with the world into words that make sense. Makes me feel like I’m not the only christian who has noticed these things. I’ve always been a fan of your band and integrity. Still fighting the good fight of faith. Keep it up.

You seem to actually care about Yah's word. So I will just say this, giving you the opportunity to "level up" if you are ready to hear it. The scriptures were translated very badly compared to the original language, (ancient hebrew) and it effects the meanings of a lot including his name. (which is in it's original language only once in the king james version.) When taking it and translating it correctly his name is Yahuah spelled in english. The letter J didn't exist either, according to my best understanding, messiah's name is Yahusha. I encourage you to keep seeking the upmost truth of Yahuah's word through the original language. The HalleluYah Scriptures translates the best for those who don't speak hebrew and therefore can't simply go read it.

I also seen that you do holidays. I want to warn you that it is very very VERY easy to prove that those days such as christmas, easter, halloween etc are pagan and the complete opposite of what Yahuah wants us doing. Christians have it half right, jews have it half right. Jews especially build a fence around the torah and Yahuah's word and in turn added a bunch of rules that weren't in there. Christians said "Yahusha (who you call Jesus) died for our sins so the law doesn't matter" and then that combined with incorrect translations, caused them to add a bunch of stuff that wasn't in the torah. Even going as far to add pagan idol worshiping holidays and literally blending it with his word.

Yahusha in fact said, "I did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it." and that nothing in the law shall pass away. The torah is our doctrine. Yahusha just paid the price for our sins. Those of us who try to follow him will be forgiven but that doesn't mean we should bow to an idol every year, because "oh he paid the price it's fine." ( Yes christmas is literally worshiping a tree!)

Take of this what you are ready to hear, I'm not sure if it's in Yahuah's will for you to know all of this yet since you help bring so many people to him, and too much truth scares most away, but I wanted to be an outlet for Yahuah if it is in his timing for you to know. Let Yahuah's will be done. Great podcast btw!

Okay so I have nothing wrong with the band. I love their music. What I wanted to talk directly to tonicdayeet. One, stop trying to talk politics, the LGBTQ+, and stop ranting about how people have their opinion. This is dumb crap and you need to stop. Don’t talk about the election that happened TWO YEARS AGO! You are ten. I’m not. I’m older. And I’m pretty sure if you said this crap in real life. You would get jumped. You yell at these people about how they don’t like them evangelizing, but when someone says that his evangelism is close to being a cult, AND YOU SAY THY HAVE THEIR RIGHTS TO THERE OPINION?! BUT THE OTHERS DON’T. You don’t make sense so just stop.

Very few people/musicians will be bold enough to go out on a platform like this to speak their minds and risk careers going against the flow. I’ll keep you in my prayers brother.

I have been listening to skillet since 2013 Rise album! I was 13 years old at the time. Skillet was also the FIRST EVER Christian music I heard! I have been following you guys for nearly 10 years now. And now this podcast is absolutely edifying to my soul! Thank you so much for standing up for BIBLICAL TRUTH John! I’m not necessarily a fan of the whole ‘fighting back against the world (aka liberals)’ thing that John puts out, but I like him and his music. I recently listened to the Phil Vischer response episode and I realized that John has no idea about the context of the Holy Post and what they talk about on a weekly basis, so he doesn’t quite understand what and why they are talking about in the show. He just misinterpreted Phil and Skye is all I’m saying.

I was introduced to Cooperstuff on the Alisa Childers podcast. What a refreshing voice!

I drive every morning (to my last year as a public school teacher) listening to my fellow normie talk truth and without fail a few laughs out loud. Thanks John.. After Jesus you are a great way to start the day.

Without really remembering when or how it happened, I’ve come to expect to hear off the wall (and often insulting) stances from many leaders in Christian circles. I (usually) just dismiss it if there is no scripture to back it up. This podcast points out a lot of that stuff! John really encourages me with this podcast as he seems to be just trying to follow Jesus and helping others to try to do the same. Good stuff!

He has a way of making me laugh out loud while driving around all by myself. LOVE THIS PODCAST! I love the fact that this podcast is always honest. My husband and I were having some pretty big disagreements about current events. He shared the episode with Alisa Childers with me and it was an eye opener. As a society, we are being lied to and I am thankful for the bravery of those who are speaking out. This podcast helped my husband and I navigate some tough conversations, and now we have this in common and enjoy talking about the episodes! Keep it up! Also, I’m a huge cookie fan…I like to say that I love all cookies but “woke cookies” 😉

PS: As a personal trainer I’m in workout gear all the time! Some muscle tanks/workout merch would be awesome!

It’s sad to see how skewed John Cooper has become. He’s a great, inspiring musician, but his opinions are based on one-sided reporting. He doesn’t question his presuppositions and, instead, preaches rather than teaches. Christianity is neither politically conservative nor liberal, but Cooper’s version of Christianity appears joined at the hip with conservative, partisan politics. He is entitled to his opinion, but this podcast is not the whole truth.

Love this podcast because he puts into words what lots of us normal lay people are feeling !

I think I put a little bit more trust in this podcaster since he will tell you to listen to all sides before making a judgement. Don’t blindly follow anyone and don’t make anyone your god. There is one God who created everything and comparing what you hear to what God says in the Bible, that’s commendable.

I do agree that the elites listened to only one side of the story and do not think of how it would affect everyone else

I am a long-time Panhead and I appreciate how you are standing up for truth! As an American who grew up in Ukraine (missionary kid), I am devestated by what is happening there--my friends are being bombed every day and many civillians are dying. Even worse, our government has done little to help and my friends in the US (including Christians) are not saying anything. Would you please interview a Ukrainian for an episode?--get first hand what's going on/raise awareness--they need our help! I know you have a lot of fans in Ukraine & Russia and it is a critical time for them and for the world!

I just wanted to say thank you for doing what you are called to do! God has used you to teach me things and keep me up to date. Also for always speaking the truth and being that watchman on the watchtower!

The flippant treatment of the scripture may be a contributing factor in why many young people walk away from the church.

By the time they start dealing with REAL temptation, all they recall from Sunday school is cartoon vegetables singing “ Silly songs, instead of actual scripture and Biblical truths.
